² Or he falls like a flower that has bloomed; and he departs like a shadow, and can’t continue.

²¹ Or will you fasten a ring in his nostril, and bore his lip with a clasp?

²⁴ And he increased his people greatly, and made them stronger than their enemies.

¹⁵ and wine makes glad the heart of man, to make his face cheerful with oil: and bread strengthens man's heart.
