¹¹ He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also, He has set eternity in their heart, without which man cannot find out the work that God makes from the beginning and to the end.

⁹ The Lord of the promise is not slow, as some deem slowness, but is long-suffering toward us, not having purposed any of us to perish, but all of us to come to repentance.

² When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk in the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame kindle on you.

⁴⁴ but I say to you, Love your enemies; bless those cursing you, do well to those hating you; and pray for those abusing and persecuting you,

²⁴ Therefore I say to you, All things, whatever you ask, praying, believe that you will receive, and it will be to you.

⁷ For God did not give a spirit of cowardice to us, but of power and of love, and of self-control.
