¹⁴ Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your presence, O Yahweh, my rock and my redeemer.

² Bless Yahweh, O my soul, and do not forget all his benefits: ³ who forgives all your iniquity, who heals all your diseases, ⁴ who redeems your life from the pit, who crowns you with loyal love and mercies,

³ He who keeps his mouth guards his life;* he who opens his lips, ruin belongs to him.

³² If you have been foolish by exalting yourself, and if you have devised evil, put your hand to your mouth. ³³ For pressing milk produces curd, and pressing the nose produces blood, so pressing _⌊anger_⌋* produces strife.
