¹⁰ I, Yahweh, examine the _⌊mind_⌋,* I test the _⌊heart_⌋,* and give to each one according to his way, according to the fruit of his deeds.

³ And why do you see the speck that is in your brother's eye, but do not notice the beam of wood in your own eye? ⁴ Or how will you say to your brother, 'Allow me to remove the speck from your eye,' and behold, the beam of wood is in your own eye? ⁵ Hypocrite! First remove the beam of wood from your own eye and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye!

⁴⁷ And that slave who knew the will of his master and did not prepare or do according to his will _⌊will be given a severe beating_⌋.* ⁴⁸ But the one who did not know and did things deserving blows _⌊will be given a light beating_⌋.* And from everyone to whom much has been given, much will be demanded, and from him to whom they entrusted much, they will ask him for even more.

¹⁰ "The one who is faithful in very little is also faithful in much, and the one who is dishonest in very little is also dishonest in much. ¹¹ If then you have not been faithful with unrighteous wealth, who will entrust to you the true riches?* ¹² And if you have not been faithful with what belongs to another, who will give you your own?

⁹ Two are better than the one, for they enjoy a better reward for their toil. ¹⁰ For if one falls, his companion may help him up. But pity the one who falls and there is _⌊no one_⌋* to help him up. ¹¹ Also if two lie together, _⌊they can keep each other warm_⌋.* But how can one person be warm? ¹² _⌊Although an assailant may overpower one person, two may withstand him_⌋.* A threefold cord _⌊is not easily broken_⌋!* ¹³ And no creature is hidden in the sight of him, but all things are naked and laid bare to the eyes of him to whom _⌊we must give our account_⌋*.

³⁶ But I tell you that every worthless word that they speak, people will give an account for it on the day of judgment! ³⁷ For by your words you will be vindicated, and by your words you will be condemned."

¹⁷ As iron sharpens* iron, so _⌊one man sharpens another_⌋.*

³ "Be concerned about yourselves! If your brother sins, rebuke him, and if he repents, forgive him.

¹⁶ Therefore confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another, so that you may be healed. The effective prayer of a righteous person accomplishes much.

¹¹ Therefore encourage one another and build up _⌊each other_⌋*, just as indeed you are doing.

¹² So* each one of us will give an account concerning himself.*

¹ Brothers, even if a person is caught in some trespass, you who are spiritual restore such a person in a spirit of humility, looking out for yourself, lest you also be tempted. ² Carry the burdens of one another, and so fulfill the law of Christ. ³ For if anyone thinks he is something although he* is nothing, he is deceiving himself. ⁴ But let each one examine his own work, and then he will have a reason for boasting in himself alone, and not in someone else. ⁵ For each one will carry his own burden.
