⁹ Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.

³¹ And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise.

¹⁰ He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much. ¹¹ If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches? ¹² And if ye have not been faithful in that which is another man's, who shall give you that which is your own?

For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again. ³⁹ And he spake a parable unto them, Can the blind lead the blind? shall they not both fall into the ditch? ⁴⁰ The disciple is not above his master: but every one that is perfect shall be as his master. ⁴¹ And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but perceivest not the beam that is in thine own eye? ⁴² Either how canst thou say to thy brother, Brother, let me pull out the mote that is in thine eye, when thou thyself beholdest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Thou hypocrite, cast out first the beam out of thine own eye, and then shalt thou see clearly to pull out the mote that is in thy brother's eye.

²⁶ If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain.

⁹ Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;

⁵ Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

³² But whoso committeth adultery with a woman lacketh understanding: he that doeth it destroyeth his own soul.

²² Say not thou, I will recompense evil; but wait on the LORD, and he shall save thee.

⁶ Better is the poor that walketh in his uprightness, than he that is perverse in his ways, though he be rich.

⁷ Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. ⁸ For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

¹ Better is the poor that walketh in his integrity, than he that is perverse in his lips, and is a fool.

⁹ He that walketh uprightly walketh surely: but he that perverteth his ways shall be known.

²⁷ Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery: ²⁸ But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.

⁴ Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.

²² Lying lips are abomination to the LORD: but they that deal truly are his delight.

¹⁷ Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.
