¹⁹ Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, impurity, licentiousness, ²⁰ Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, strife, jealousy, wrath, selfishness, divisions, heresies, ²¹ Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revelings, and such like: of which I tell you beforehand, as I have also told you in time past, that they who do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

⁵ For this you know, that no fornicator, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.

¹⁴ But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfill the lusts thereof.

³ For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that you should abstain from fornication: ⁴ That every one of you should know how to possess his own vessel in sanctification and honor; ⁵ Not in the lust of passion, even as the Gentiles who know not God: ⁶ That no man transgress and wrong his brother in any matter: because the Lord is the avenger of all such, as we also have forewarned you and testified. ⁷ For God has not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness. ⁸ He therefore that despises, despises not man, but God, who has also given unto us his Holy Spirit.

⁵ Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry:

⁸ Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

¹⁸ Pray for us: for we trust we have a good conscience, in all things willing to live honestly.

¹⁰ Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.

¹⁸ Flee fornication. Every sin that a man does is outside the body; but he that commits fornication sins against his own body.

⁹ If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

⁴ Let marriage be held in honor by all, and the bed undefiled: but fornicators and adulterers God will judge.

¹² Let no man despise your youth; but be an example of the believers, in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity.

⁹ [Beth] How shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to your word.

⁸ Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.
