¹⁰ He has drawn a circle on the waters at the boundary where the day and night come together.

⁹ You rule the raging of the sea: when the waves thereof arise, you still them.

¹ Praise you the LORD. Praise you the LORD from the heavens: praise him in the heights. ² Praise him, all his angels: praise him, all his hosts. ³ Praise him, sun and moon: praise him, all you stars of light. ⁴ Praise him, you heavens of heavens, and you waters that be above the heavens. ⁵ Let them praise the name of the LORD: for he commanded, and they were created. ⁶ He has also established them forever and ever: he has made a decree which shall not pass. ⁷ Praise the LORD from the earth, you sea creatures, and all deeps: ⁸ Fire, and hail; snow, and vapors; stormy wind fulfilling his word: ⁹ Mountains, and all hills; fruitful trees, and all cedars: ¹⁰ Beasts, and all cattle; creeping things, and flying fowl: ¹¹ Kings of the earth, and all people; princes, and all judges of the earth: ¹² Both young men, and maidens; old men, and children: ¹³ Let them praise the name of the LORD: for his name alone is excellent; his glory is above the earth and heaven. ¹⁴ He also exalts the horn of his people, the praise of all his saints; even of the children of Israel, a people near unto him. Praise you the LORD.

²² And immediately Jesus made his disciples get into a ship, and to go before him unto the other side, while he sent the multitudes away. ²³ And when he had sent the multitudes away, he went up into a mountain apart to pray: and when the evening was come, he was there alone. ²⁴ But the ship was now in the midst of the sea, tossed with waves: for the wind was contrary. ²⁵ And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went unto them, walking on the sea. ²⁶ And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a spirit; and they cried out for fear.

²⁶ And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth.

⁷ But ask now the beasts, and they shall teach you; and the fowls of the air, and they shall tell you: ⁸ Or speak to the earth, and it shall teach you: and the fish of the sea shall declare unto you. ⁹ Who knows not among all these that the hand of the LORD has done this? ¹⁰ In whose hand is the soul of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind.

⁸ The fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea, and whatsoever passes through the paths of the seas.

³⁵ Thus says the LORD, who gives the sun for a light by day, and the fixed order of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, who divides the sea when its waves roar; The LORD of hosts is his name:

⁶ To him that stretched out the earth above the waters: for his mercy endures forever.
