²³ My lips shall greatly rejoice when I sing unto you; and my soul, which you have redeemed.

¹ [A Psalm of Praise.] Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all you lands. ² Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing. ³ Know you that the LORD he is God: it is he that has made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. ⁴ Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. ⁵ For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endures to all generations.

⁵ It is better to hear the rebuke of the wise, than for a man to hear the song of fools.

²⁰ As he that takes away a garment in cold weather, and as vinegar upon soda, so is he that sings songs to a heavy heart.

¹⁶ Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

¹³ Is any among you afflicted? let him pray. Is any merry? let him sing psalms.

¹ Praise you the LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power. ² Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness. ³ Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the lute and harp. ⁴ Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and pipes. ⁵ Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the clashing cymbals. ⁶ Let every thing that has breath praise the LORD. Praise you the LORD.

³³ I will sing unto the LORD as long as I live: I will sing praise to my God while I have my being.

¹ O come, let us sing unto the LORD: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.

² Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him: talk of all his wondrous works.

¹⁹ Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;
