²⁶ And you shall be holy unto me: for I the LORD am holy, and have separated you from other people, that you should be mine.

² Speak unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, and say unto them, You shall be holy: for I the LORD your God am holy.

⁸ And a highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for others: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein.

¹⁹ What? know you not that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have of God, and you are not your own?

²³ And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

⁸ Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

⁹ But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own; that you should show forth the praises of him who has called you out of darkness into his marvelous light:

⁷ For God has not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness.

²¹ If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honor, sanctified, and fit for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work.

¹⁴ Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:

¹ Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

⁶ Whosoever abides in him sins not: whosoever sins has not seen him, neither known him. ⁷ Little children, let no man deceive you: he that does righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. ⁸ He that commits sin is of the devil; for the devil sins from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. ⁹ Whosoever is born of God does not commit sin; for his nature remains in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. ¹⁰ In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever does not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loves not his brother.

¹⁴ As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance: ¹⁵ But as he who has called you is holy, so be holy in all manner of conduct; ¹⁶ Because it is written, You will be holy; for I am holy.
