²⁸ For which of you, desiring to build a tower, doth not first sit down and count the cost, whether he have wherewith to complete it?

¹⁷ Wherefore if any man is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things are passed away, behold, all things are become new.

²⁵ Care in the heart of a man boweth it down; but a good word maketh it glad.

⁵ Trust in the LORD with all thy heart, and lean not upon thine own understanding. ⁶ In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct thy paths.

¹⁶ Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves; be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.

¹³ There hath no temptation taken you but such as man can bear; but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able, but will with the temptation make also the way of escape, that ye may be able to endure it.

²⁸ And we know that to them that love God all things work together for good, even to them that are called according to his purpose.

¹⁵ And if thy brother sin against thee, go and show him his fault between thee and him alone; if he hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother. ¹⁶ But if he hear thee not, take with thee one or two more, that at the mouth of two witnesses or three every word may be established. ¹⁷ And if he refuse to hear them, tell it unto the church; and if he refuse to hear the church also, let him be unto thee as the Gentile and the publican.

³³ These things have I spoken unto you, that in me ye may have peace. In the world ye have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.
