⁴² And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' teaching and fellowship, in the breaking of bread and the prayers.

⁴⁴ And all that believed were together, and had all things common, ⁴⁵ and they sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all, according as any man had need. ⁴⁶ And day by day, continuing stedfastly with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread at home, they took their food with gladness and singleness of heart, ⁴⁷ praising God, and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church day by day those that were being saved.

²¹ that they may all be one, even as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us; that the world may believe that thou didst send me. ²² And the glory which thou hast given me I have given unto them, that they may be one, even as we are one, ²³ I in them, and thou in me, that they may be perfected into one, that the world may know that thou didst send me, and lovedst them, even as thou lovedst me.

¹² that is, that I with you may be comforted in you, each of us by the other's faith, both yours and mine.

⁷ but if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

⁸ Finally, be ye all likeminded, compassionate, loving as brethren, tenderhearted, courteous:

³⁰ because we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.

²⁰ For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

² Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.

¹⁷ Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.

³ that which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us; yea, and our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ:

²⁴ and let us consider one another to provoke unto love and good works,

⁹ Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour. ¹⁰ For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him that is alone when he falleth, and hath not another to lift him up. ¹¹ Again, if two lie together, then they have warmth; but how can one be warm alone? ¹² And if a man prevail against him that is alone, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken.

²⁵ not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another, and so much the more, as ye see the day drawing nigh.

¹¹ Wherefore exhort one another, and build each other up, even as also ye do.
