²⁴ (31:25) Be strong, and let your heart take courage, all ye that wait for the LORD.

⁷ He shall not be afraid of evil tidings; his heart is stedfast, trusting in the LORD.

³⁶ And Jesus straightway, when he heard the word spoken, saith unto the ruler of the synagogue, Fear not, only believe.

¹³ There hath no temptation taken you but such as man can bear; but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able, but will with the temptation make also the way of escape, that ye may be able to endure it.

¹³ I can do all things in him that strengtheneth me.

¹⁰ Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might. ¹¹ Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. ¹² For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world-rulers of the darkness of this world, against the spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. ¹³ Wherefore take up the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and, having done all, to stand. ¹⁴ Stand therefore, having girded your loins with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, ¹⁵ and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace, ¹⁶ withal taking up the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one. ¹⁷ And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: ¹⁸ with all prayer and supplication praying at all seasons in the Spirit, and watching thereunto in all perseverance and supplication for all the saints,

²⁰ And David said to Solomon his son: 'Be strong and of good courage, and do it; fear not, nor be dismayed; for the LORD God, even my God, is with thee; He will not fail thee, nor forsake thee, until all the work for the service of the house of the LORD be finished.

⁵ Trust in the LORD with all thy heart, and lean not upon thine own understanding. ⁶ In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct thy paths.

³³ These things have I spoken unto you, that in me ye may have peace. In the world ye have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.

¹⁴ Wait on the LORD; be strong, and let thy heart take courage; yea, wait thou for the LORD.

¹ The wicked flee when no man pursueth; but the righteous are secure as a young lion.

¹³ Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.

⁷ For God gave us not a spirit of fearfulness, but of power and love and discipline.

⁶ Be strong and of good courage, fear not, nor be affrighted at them; for the LORD thy God, He it is that doth go with thee; He will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.'

⁹ Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of good courage; be not affrighted, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.'
