Psalms 16:5-8

5 O LORD, the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup, Thou maintainest my lot. 6 The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage. 7 I will bless the LORD, who hath given me counsel; yea, in the night seasons my reins instruct me. 8 I have set the LORD always before me; surely He is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.

Psalms 19:7-11

7 (19:8) The law of the LORD is perfect, restoring the soul; the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple. 8 (19:9) The precepts of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart; the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes. 9 (19:10) The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever; the ordinances of the LORD are true, they are righteous altogether; 10 (19:11) More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold; sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb. 11 (19:12) Moreover by them is Thy servant warned; in keeping of them there is great reward.

Mark 9:42-50

42 And whosoever shall cause one of these little ones that believe on me to stumble, it were better for him if a great millstone were hanged about his neck, and he were cast into the sea. 43 And if thy hand cause thee to stumble, cut it off; it is good for thee to enter into life maimed, rather than having thy two hands to go into hell, into the unquenchable fire, 44 where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. 45 And if thy foot cause thee to stumble, cut it off; it is good for thee to enter into life halt, rather than having thy two feet to be cast into hell, into the unquenchable fire, 46 where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. 47 And if thine eye cause thee to stumble, cast it out; it is good for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into the hell of fire, 48 where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. 49 For every one shall be salted with fire, and every sacrifice shall be salted with salt. 50 Salt is good; but if the salt have lost its saltness, wherewith will ye season it? Have salt in yourselves, and be at peace one with another.

5 O LORD, the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup, Thou maintainest my lot. 6 The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage. 7 I will bless the LORD, who hath given me counsel; yea, in the night seasons my reins instruct me. 8 I have set the LORD always before me; surely He is at my right hand, I shall not be moved. 9 Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth; my flesh also dwelleth in safety;
