¹⁸ And she said: 'Let thy servant find favour in thy sight.' So the woman went her way, and did eat, and her countenance was no more sad.

² And be not fashioned according to this world; but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

¹³ for, Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

³ And if I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and if I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profiteth me nothing.

³ Who healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.

¹⁷ Crazed because of the way of their transgression, and afflicted because of their iniquities - ¹⁸ Their soul abhorred all manner of food, and they drew near unto the gates of death -

²⁹ for no man ever hated his own flesh, but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord also the church,

²⁵ Therefore I say unto you, be not anxious for your life, what ye shall eat, and what ye shall drink, nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than the food, and the body than the raiment?

¹⁶ Know ye not that ye are a temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

⁷ Thou art all fair, my love; and there is no spot in thee.

⁷ But the LORD said unto Samuel: 'Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have rejected him; for it is not as man seeth: for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart.'

¹⁹ Or know ye not that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit in you, which ye have from God? and ye are not your own, ²⁰ for ye were bought with a price; glorify God therefore in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.
