²⁰ for the kingdom of God isn’t just talk, but also power.

¹⁷ For God’s kingdom does not consist of food and drink, but of righteousness, peace, and joy produced by the Holy Spirit. ¹⁸ For the person who serves the Messiah in this way is pleasing to God and approved by people.

³³ But first be concerned about God’s kingdom and his righteousness, and all of these things will be provided for you as well.
