¹ The Purposes in God’s Timing There is a season for everything, and a time for every event under heaven:

³ Entrust your work to the LORD, and your planning will succeed.

⁶ Train a child in the way appropriate for him, and when he becomes older, he will not turn from it.

²⁰ teaching them to obey everything that I’ve commanded you. And remember, I am with you each and every day until the end of the age.”

³⁴ Because where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”

⁵ I am the vine, you are the branches. The one who abides in me while I abide in him produces much fruit, because apart from me you can do nothing.

⁶ I am convinced of this, that the one who began a good action among you will bring it to completion by the Day of the Messiah Jesus.

⁸ Besides, God is able to make every blessing of yours overflow for you, so that in every situation you will always have all you need for any good work.

⁶ Be strong and courageous. Don’t fear or tremble before them, because the LORD your God will be the one who keeps on walking with you—he won’t leave you or abandon you.”

¹⁵ Do your best to present yourself to God as an approved worker who has nothing to be ashamed of, handling the word of truth with precision.

⁹ And this is my prayer, that your love will keep on growing more and more with full knowledge and insight, ¹⁰ so that you may be able to choose what is best and be pure and blameless until the day when the Messiah returns,

⁴ May he give you what your heart desires, and may he fulfill all your plans.

² When you pass through the waters, I’ll be with you; and through the rivers, they won’t sweep over you. when you walk through fire you won’t be scorched, and the flame won’t set you ablaze.

¹² Do not let anyone look down on you because you are young, but be an example for other believers in your speech, behavior, love, faithfulness, and purity.

⁶ Fullness of LifeSo then, just as you have received the Messiah Jesus the Lord, continue to live dependent on him. ⁷ For you have been rooted in him and are being built up and strengthened in the faith, just as you were taught, while you continue to be thankful.

⁹ I’ve commanded you, haven’t I? Be strong and courageous. Don’t be fearful or discouraged, because the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.”

⁵ Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not depend on your own understanding. ⁶ In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.

¹¹ For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the LORD, ‘plans for well-being, and not for calamity, in order to give you a future and a hope.
