²² But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, fidelity,

¹ MOREOVER, brethren, rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things to you, to me indeed is not irksome, but is safe for you.

¹ WHEREFORE, my brethren, beloved, and very dear to me, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the Lord, O beloved.

⁴ Rejoice in the Lord always; again I say, Rejoice. ⁵ Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand. ⁶ Be not anxious about any thing, but in every case by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your petitions be made known unto God. ⁷ And the peace of God which surpasseth all comprehension, shall guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

¹⁸ Fear is not in this love; but the perfect love casteth out fear: for fear hath anguish. He that is afraid is not made perfect in love.

³ And not only so, but we glory also in tribulations: knowing that tribulation produceth patience; ⁴ and patience, proof; and proof, hope;

¹⁶ Rejoice evermore.
