¹⁶ He who believes it and is baptized will be saved, but he who does not believe it will be condemned.

¹ So as we have been made upright by faith, let us live in peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,

³¹ "Believe in the Lord Jesus," they said, "and you and your household will be saved!"

⁸ For it is by his mercy that you have been saved through faith. It is not by your own action, it is the gift of God. ⁹ It has not been earned, so that no one can boast of it.
