²⁸ Come to me, all of you who toil and are burdened, and I will let you rest.

⁹ But, as the Scripture says, there are things "Which no eye ever saw and no ear ever heard, And never occurred to the human mind, Which God has provided for those who love him." ¹⁰ For God revealed them to us through his Spirit, for the Spirit fathoms everything, even the depths of God himself.

³³ I have told you all this, so that through me you may find peace. In the world you have trouble; but take courage! I have conquered the world."

¹³ Come now, you who say, "Today or tomorrow we are going to such and such a town, to stay a year and go into business and make money," ¹⁴ when you do not know what your life will be like tomorrow! You are just a mist, which appears for a little while and then disappears. ¹⁵ This, instead of saying, "If it is the Lord's will, we shall live to do this or that."
