²⁸ But we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them that are called according to his purpose.

¹⁰ for with the heart it is believed unto righteousness; and with the mouth it is confessed unto salvation.

²⁰ according to my earnest expectation and hope, that I shall be ashamed in nothing, but with all boldness, as always, even now Christ will be magnified in my body, whether by life, or by death. ²¹ For Christ is my life, and death is my gain.

¹⁵ Love not the world, nor the things that are in the world. If any one loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him: ¹⁶ because this is all that is in the world; the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, which is not of the Father, but is of the world. ¹⁷ The world and its lust are indeed passing away; but the one doing the will of God abides forever.

² You lust, and you have not: you murder, and you strive, and you are not able to obtain: you fight and you war; and have not, because you do not ask: ³ you ask, and you receive not, because you ask wickedly, that you may expend it in your pleasures. ⁴ O adulteresses, do you not know that the friendship of the world is enmity to God? Whosoever therefore may wish to be the friend of the world renders himself the enemy of God.

⁸ Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to-day, and forever.

¹³ I can do all things through him who fills me up with dynamite.

²⁰ I am crucified along with Christ; and I live no longer, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh, I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

³⁸ For I am persuaded that, neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, ³⁹ nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

² and he not fashioned after this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

¹ Be ye imitators of me, as I also am of Christ. ² But I praise you because you remember me in all things, and hold fast the commandments, as I delivered them unto you.

³³ But seek first the kingdom, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
