¹² I indeed know how to be poor, and I know how to abound: in every thing and in all things I learned both to flourish and to be poor, both to abound and to be destitute.

⁶ Godliness with contentment is great gain,

⁵ casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

²² But fly from youthful lusts, and pursue righteousness, faith, divine love, peace, with those who call upon the Lord out of a clean heart.

¹⁵ Study to present yourself to God approved, a workman not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
