¹⁶ Ye haue not chosen me, but I haue chosen you, and ordeined you, that ye goe and bring foorth fruite, and that your fruite remaine, that whatsoeuer ye shall aske of the Father in my Name, he may giue it you.

¹⁶ Then ye eleuen disciples wet into Galile, into a mountaine, where Iesus had appointed the. ¹⁷ And when they sawe him, they worshipped him: but some douted. ¹⁸ And Iesus came, and spake vnto them, saying, All power is giuen vnto me, in heauen, and in earth. ¹⁹ Go therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the Name of the Father, and the Sonne, and the holy Ghost, ²⁰ Teaching them to obserue all things, whatsoeuer I haue commanded you: and lo, I am with you alway, vntill the ende of the worlde, Amen.

¹⁷ Then Iesus said vnto them, Folow me, and I will make you to be fishers of men. ¹⁸ And straightway they forsooke their nets, and folowed him. ¹⁹ And when hee had gone a litle further thence, he sawe Iames the sonne of Zebedeus, and Iohn his brother, as they were in the ship, mending their nets. ²⁰ And anon hee called them: and they left their father Zebedeus in the shippe with his hired seruants, and went their way after him.

¹⁷ But as God hath distributed to euery man, as the Lord hath called euery one, so let him walke: and so ordaine I, in all Churches. ¹⁸ Is any man called being circumcised? let him not gather his vncircumcision: is any called vncircumcised? let him not be circumcised. ¹⁹ Circumcision is nothing, and vncircumcision is nothing, but the keeping of the commandements of God. ²⁰ Let euery man abide in the same vocation wherein he was called. ²¹ Art thou called being a seruant? care not for it: but if yet thou maiest be free, vse it rather. ²² For he that is called in the Lord, being. a seruant, is the Lords freeman: likewise also he that is called being free, is Christes seruant. ²³ Yee are bought with a price: be not the seruants of men. ²⁴ Brethren, let euery man, wherein hee was called, therein abide with God.

¹ I therefore, being prisoner in the Lord, praie you that yee walke worthie of the vocation whereunto yee are called, ² With all humblenesse of minde, and meekenesse, with long suffering, supporting one an other through loue, ³ Endeuouring to keepe the vnitie of the Spirit in the bond of peace. ⁴ There is one body, and one Spirit, euen as yee are called in one hope of your vocation. ⁵ There is one Lord, one Faith, one Baptisme, ⁶ One God and Father of all, which is aboue all, and through all, and in you all. ⁷ But vnto euery one of vs is giuen grace, according to the measure of the gift of Christ. ⁸ Wherfore he saith, Whe he asceded vp on hie, he led captiuity captiue, and gaue gifts vnto men. ⁹ (Nowe, in that hee ascended, what is it but that he had also descended first into the lowest partes of the earth? ¹⁰ Hee that descended, is euen the same that ascended, farre aboue all heauens, that hee might fill all things) ¹¹ Hee therefore gaue some to be Apostles, and some Prophets, and some Euangelists, and some Pastours, and Teachers, ¹² For the repairing of the Saintes, for the woorke of the ministerie, and for the edification of the bodie of Christ,

¹⁴ For many are called, but fewe chosen.

¹¹ For I knowe the thoughtes, that I haue thought towards you, saith the Lord, euen the thoughtes of peace, and not of trouble, to giue you an ende, and your hope.

¹⁸ The Spirit of the Lord is vpon mee, because he hath anoynted me, that I should preach the Gospel to the poore: he hath sent mee, that I should heale the broken hearted, that I should preach deliuerance to the captiues, and recouering of sight to the blinde, that I should set at libertie them that are bruised:

⁴ For as wee haue many members in one body, and all members haue not one office, ⁵ So we being many are one body in Christ, and euery one, one anothers members. ⁶ Seeing then that we haue gifts that are diuers, according to the grace that is giuen vnto vs, whether we haue prophecie, let vs prophecie according to the portion of faith: ⁷ Or an office, let vs waite on the office: or he that teacheth, on teaching: ⁸ Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that distributeth, let him doe it with simplicitie: he that ruleth, with diligence: he that sheweth mercie, with cheerefulnesse.
