¹⁹ I call heauen and earth to recorde this day against you, that I haue set before you life and death, blessing and cursing. therefore chuse life, that both thou and thy seede may liue,

² How long shall I take counsell within my selfe, hauing wearinesse dayly in mine heart? how long shall mine enemie be exalted aboue me? ³ Beholde, and heare mee, O Lord my God: lighten mine eyes, that I sleepe not in death: ⁴ Lest mine enemie say, I haue preuailed against him: and they that afflict me, reioyce when I slide.

³ He healeth those that are broken in heart, and bindeth vp their sores.

²⁵ He that loueth his life, shall lose it, and he that hateth his life in this world, shall keepe it vnto life eternall.

¹⁷ If any man destroy the Temple of God, him shall God destroy: for the Temple of God is holy, which ye are.

¹³ For whosoeuer shall call vpon the Name of the Lord, shalbe saued.

⁹ And he said vnto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my power is made perfect through weakenesse. Very gladly therefore will I reioyce rather in mine infirmities, that the power of Christ may dwell in me.

²⁰ For yee are bought for a price: therefore glorifie God in your bodie, and in your spirit: for they are Gods.

⁵ Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, and leane not vnto thine owne wisdome. ⁶ In all thy wayes acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy wayes.

¹¹ For I knowe the thoughtes, that I haue thought towards you, saith the Lord, euen the thoughtes of peace, and not of trouble, to giue you an ende, and your hope.

¹⁷ The righteous crie, and the Lord heareth them, and deliuereth them out of all their troubles. ¹⁸ The Lord is neere vnto them that are of a contrite heart, and will saue such as be afflicted in Spirite. ¹⁹ Great are the troubles of the righteous: but the Lord deliuereth him out of them all. ²⁰ He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken.

¹⁷ I haue seene all things in the dayes of my vanitie: there is a iust man that perisheth in his iustice, and there is a wicked man that continueth long in his malice.

¹⁶ Knowe ye not that ye are the Temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? ¹⁷ If any man destroy the Temple of God, him shall God destroy: for the Temple of God is holy, which ye are.
