¹ Blessed is the man that doeth not walke in the counsell of the wicked, nor stand in the way of sinners, nor sit in ye seate of the scornefull: ² But his delite is in the Lawe of the Lord, and in his Lawe doeth he meditate day and night. ³ For he shall be like a tree planted by the riuers of waters, that will bring foorth her fruite in due season: whose leafe shall not fade: so whatsoeuer he shall doe, shall prosper. ⁴ The wicked are not so, but as the chaffe, which the winde driueth away. ⁵ Therefore the wicked shall not stande in the iudgement, nor sinners in the assemblie of the righteous. ⁶ For the Lord knoweth the way of the righteous, and the way of the wicked shall perish.

²³ And whatsoeuer ye doe, doe it heartily, as to the Lord, and not to men,

¹⁷ That the man of God may be absolute, being made perfect vnto all good workes.

¹³ For this cause also thanke we God without ceasing, that when ye receiued the worde of God, which ye heard of vs, ye receiued it not as the worde of men, but as it is in deede the worde of God, which also worketh in you that beleeue.

²⁰ So that yee first knowe this, that no prophecie of the Scripture is of any priuate interpretation. ²¹ For the prophecie came not in olde time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moued by the holy Ghost.

¹² For the worde of God is liuely, and mightie in operation, and sharper then any two edged sword, and entreth through, euen vnto the diuiding asunder of the soule and the spirit, and of the ioints, and the marow, and is a discerner of the thoughtes, and the intents of the heart.

² And as for the rest, it is required of the disposers, that euery man be found faithfull. ³ As touching me, I passe very litle to be iudged of you, or of mans iudgement: no, I iudge not mine owne selfe. ⁴ For I know nothing by my selfe, yet am I not thereby iustified: but he that iudgeth me, is the Lord.

¹⁰ He that is faithfull in the least, hee is also faithful in much: and he that is vniust in the least, is vniust also in much.

¹⁶ For the whole Scripture is giuen by inspiration of God, and is profitable to teache, to conuince, to correct, and to instruct in righteousnesse,
