⁹ Thou rulest the raging of the sea: when the waues thereof arise, thou stillest them.

¹⁰ He hath set bounds about the waters, vntil the day and night come to an ende.

¹ Praise ye the Lord. Praise ye the Lord from the heauen: prayse ye him in the high places. ² Prayse ye him, all ye his Angels: praise him, all his armie. ³ Prayse ye him, sunne and moone: prayse ye him all bright starres. ⁴ Prayse ye him, heauens of heauens, and waters, that be aboue the heauens. ⁵ Let them prayse the Name of the Lord: for he commanded, and they were created. ⁶ And he hath established them for euer and euer: he hath made an ordinance, which shall not passe. ⁷ Prayse ye the Lord from the earth, ye dragons and all depths: ⁸ Fire and hayle, snowe and vapours, stormie winde, which execute his worde: ⁹ Mountaines and all hils, fruitfull trees and all ceders: ¹⁰ Beasts and all cattell, creeping things and fethered foules: ¹¹ Kings of the earth and all people, princes and all iudges of the worlde: ¹² Yong men and maidens, also olde men and children: ¹³ Let them prayse the Name of the Lord: for his Name onely is to be exalted, and his prayse aboue the earth and the heauens. ¹⁴ For he hath exalted the horne of his people, which is a prayse for all his Saintes, euen for the children of Israel, a people that is neere vnto him. Prayse ye the Lord.

²² And straightway Iesus compelled his disciples to enter into a shippe, and to goe ouer before him, while he sent the multitude away. ²³ And assoone as hee had sent the multitude away, he went vp into a moutaine alone to pray: and when the euening was come, hee was there alone. ²⁴ And the shippe was nowe in the middes of the sea, and was tossed with waues: for it was a contrarie winde. ²⁵ And in the fourth watch of the night, Iesus went vnto them, walking on the sea. ²⁶ And when his disciples sawe him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a spirit, and cried out for feare.

²⁶ Furthermore God said, Let vs make man in our image according to our likenes, and let them rule ouer the fish of the sea, and ouer the foule of the heauen, and ouer the beastes, and ouer all the earth, and ouer euery thing that creepeth and moueth on the earth.

⁷ Aske now the beasts, and they shall teach thee, and the foules of the heauen, and they shall tell thee: ⁸ Or speake to the earth, and it shall shewe thee: or the fishes of the sea, and they shall declare vnto thee. ⁹ Who is ignorant of all these, but that the hande of the Lord hath made these? ¹⁰ In whose hande is the soule of euery liuing thing, and the breath of all mankinde.

⁸ The foules of the ayre, and the fish of the sea, and that which passeth through the paths of the seas.

³⁵ Thus saith the Lord, which giueth the sunne for a light to the day, and the courses of the moone and of the starres for a light to the night, which breaketh the sea, when the waues thereof roare: his Name is the Lord of hostes.

⁶ Which hath stretched out the earth vpon the waters: for his mercie endureth for euer:
