²⁶ And sayd, if thou wilt diligently hearken, O Israel, vnto the voyce of the Lord thy God, and wilt do that, which is right in his sight, and wilt giue eare vnto his commandements, and keepe all his ordinances, then will I put none of these diseases vpon thee, which I brought vpon the Egyptians: for I am the Lord that healeth thee.

²⁵ For ye shall serue the Lord your God, and he shall blesse thy bread and thy water, and I will take all sickenes away from the middes of thee.

⁷ Be not wise in thine owne eyes: but feare the Lord, and depart from euill. ⁸ So health shalbe vnto thy nauel, and marowe vnto thy bones.

²⁴ Faire wordes are as an hony combe, sweetenesse to the soule, and health to the bones.

³ He healeth those that are broken in heart, and bindeth vp their sores.

²⁰ My sonne, hearken vnto my wordes, incline thine eare vnto my sayings. ²¹ Let them not depart from thine eyes, but keepe them in the middes of thine heart. ²² For they are life vnto those that find them, and health vnto all their flesh.

³¹ Whether therefore ye eate, or drinke, or whatsoeuer ye doe, doe all to the glory of God.

⁸ For bodily exercise profiteth litle: but godlinesse is profitable vnto all things, which hath the promise of the life present, and of that that is to come.

²² A ioyfull heart causeth good health: but a sorowfull minde dryeth the bones.

¹⁹ Knowe yee not, that your body is the temple of the holy Ghost, which is in you, whom ye haue of God? and yee are not your owne. ²⁰ For yee are bought for a price: therefore glorifie God in your bodie, and in your spirit: for they are Gods.

² Beloued, I wish chiefly that thou prosperedst and faredst well as thy soule prospereth.
