³¹ And the remnant that is escaped of the house of Iudah, shall againe take roote downward and beare fruite vpward.

⁸ For ye were once darkenesse, but are nowe light in the Lord: walke as children of light, ⁹ (For the fruit of the Spirit is in al goodnes, and righteousnes, and trueth) ¹⁰ Approuing that which is pleasing to the Lord. ¹¹ And haue no fellowship with ye vnfruitfull works of darknes, but euen reproue them rather.

²² But the fruite of the Spirit is loue, ioye, peace, long suffering, gentlenes, goodnes, fayth,

²² But now being freed from sinne, and made seruants vnto God, ye haue your fruit in holines, and the end, euerlasting life.

¹ Blessed is the man that doeth not walke in the counsell of the wicked, nor stand in the way of sinners, nor sit in ye seate of the scornefull: ² But his delite is in the Lawe of the Lord, and in his Lawe doeth he meditate day and night. ³ For he shall be like a tree planted by the riuers of waters, that will bring foorth her fruite in due season: whose leafe shall not fade: so whatsoeuer he shall doe, shall prosper. ⁴ The wicked are not so, but as the chaffe, which the winde driueth away. ⁵ Therefore the wicked shall not stande in the iudgement, nor sinners in the assemblie of the righteous. ⁶ For the Lord knoweth the way of the righteous, and the way of the wicked shall perish.

¹⁵ Beware of false prophets, which come to you, in sheepes clothing, but inwardly they are rauening wolues. ¹⁶ Ye shall know them by their fruites. Doe men gather grapes of thornes? or figges of thistles? ¹⁷ So euery good tree bringeth foorth good fruite, and a corrupt tree bringeth forth euill fruite. ¹⁸ A good tree can not bring forth euil fruite: neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruite. ¹⁹ Euery tree that bringeth not forth good fruite, is hewen downe, and cast into the fire. ²⁰ Therefore by their fruites ye shall knowe them.

¹⁷ But the wisedome that is from aboue, is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, easie to be intreated, full of mercie and good fruites, without iudging, and without hipocrisie.

¹ I Am that true vine, and my Father is that husband man. ² Euery branch that beareth not fruite in me, he taketh away: and euery one that beareth fruite, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruite. ³ Nowe are ye cleane through the worde, which I haue spoken vnto you. ⁴ Abide in me, and I in you: as the branche cannot beare fruite of it selfe, except it abide in the vine, no more can ye, except ye abide in me. ⁵ I am that vine: ye are the branches: he that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruite: for without me can ye doe nothing. ⁶ If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branche, and withereth: and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they burne. ⁷ If ye abide in me, and my wordes abide in you, aske what ye wil, and it shalbe done to you. ⁸ Herein is my Father glorified, that ye beare much fruite, and be made my disciples. ⁹ As the father hath loued me, so haue I loued you: continue in that my loue. ¹⁰ If ye shall keepe my commandements, ye shall abide in my loue, as I haue kept my Fathers commandements, and abide in his loue. ¹¹ These things haue I spoken vnto you, that my ioy might remaine in you, and that your ioy might be full. ¹² This is my commandement, that ye loue one another, as I haue loued you. ¹³ Greater loue then this hath no man, when any man bestoweth his life for his friendes. ¹⁴ Ye are my friendes, if ye doe whatsoeuer I commaund you. ¹⁵ Henceforth call I you not seruants: for the seruant knoweth not what his master doeth: but I haue called you friends: for all things that I haue heard of my Father, haue I made knowen to you. ¹⁶ Ye haue not chosen me, but I haue chosen you, and ordeined you, that ye goe and bring foorth fruite, and that your fruite remaine, that whatsoeuer ye shall aske of the Father in my Name, he may giue it you. ¹⁷ These things commaund I you, that ye loue one another.
