¹⁶ These sixe things doeth the Lord hate: yea, his soule abhorreth seuen: ¹⁷ The hautie eyes, a lying tongue, and the hands that shed innocent blood, ¹⁸ An heart that imagineth wicked enterprises, feete that be swift in running to mischiefe, ¹⁹ A false witnesse that speaketh lyes, and him that rayseth vp contentions among brethren.

¹⁵ Moreouer, if thy brother trespasse against thee, goe and tell him his fault betweene thee and him alone: if he heare thee, thou hast wonne thy brother. ¹⁶ But if he heare thee not, take yet with thee one or two, that by the mouth of two or three witnesses euery worde may be confirmed. ¹⁷ And if he refuse to heare them, tell it vnto the Church: and if he refuse to heare the Church also, let him be vnto thee as an heathen man, and a Publicane. ¹⁸ Verely I say vnto you, Whatsoeuer ye bind on earth, shall be bound in heauen: and whatsoeuer ye loose on earth, shalbe loosed in heauen.

²⁴ For if a kingdome bee deuided against it selfe, that kingdome can not stand. ²⁵ Or if a house bee deuided against it selfe, that house can not continue. ²⁶ So if Satan make insurrection against himselfe, and be deuided, hee can not endure but is at an ende.

¹² Now therfore as the elect of God holy and beloued, put on the bowels of mercies, kindnesse, humblenesse of minde, meekenesse, long suffering: ¹³ Forbearing one another, and forgiuing one another, if any man haue a quarel to another: euen as Christ forgaue, euen so doe ye. ¹⁴ And aboue all these thinges put on loue, which is the bond of perfectnes. ¹⁵ And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which ye are called in one body, and be ye thankfull.

⁹ Whosoeuer transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that continueth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Sonne. ¹⁰ If there come any vnto you, and bring not this doctrine, receiue him not to house, neither bid him, God speede: ¹¹ For he that biddeth him, God speede, is partaker of his euill deedes. Although I had many things to write vnto you, yet I woulde not write with paper and ynke: but I trust to come vnto you, and speake mouth to mouth, that our ioy may be full.

²² Hauing purified your soules in obeying the trueth through the spirite, to loue brotherly without faining, loue one another with a pure heart feruently, ²³ Being borne anewe, not of mortall seede, but of immortall, by the woorde of God, who liueth and endureth for euer. ²⁴ For all flesh is as grasse, and all the glorie of man is as the flower of grasse. The grasse withereth, and the flower falleth away. ²⁵ But the worde of the Lord endureth for euer: and this is the woorde which is preached among you.

³ Endeuouring to keepe the vnitie of the Spirit in the bond of peace. ⁴ There is one body, and one Spirit, euen as yee are called in one hope of your vocation. ⁵ There is one Lord, one Faith, one Baptisme, ⁶ One God and Father of all, which is aboue all, and through all, and in you all.

¹⁶ These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their owne lustes: Whose mouthes speake proud things, hauing mens persons in admiration, because of aduantage. ¹⁷ But, yee beloued, remember the wordes which were spoken before of the Apostles of our Lord Iesus Christ, ¹⁸ How that they told you that there should be mockers in ye last time, which should walke after their owne vngodly lustes. ¹⁹ These are they that separate them selues from other, naturall, hauing not the Spirit.

¹⁷ But he knew their thoughts, and said vnto them, Euery kingdom deuided against it self, shall be desolate, and an house deuided against an house, falleth.

⁹ But stay foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and brawlings about the Lawe: for they are vnprofitable and vaine. ¹⁰ Reiect him that is an heretike, after once or twise admonition, ¹¹ Knowing that hee that is such, is peruerted, and sinneth, being damned of his owne selfe.

¹⁷ Now I beseech you brethren, marke them diligently which cause diuision and offences, contrary to the doctrine which ye haue learned, and auoide them. ¹⁸ For they that are such, serue not the Lord Iesus Christ, but their owne bellies, and with faire speach and flattering deceiue the heartes of the simple.

¹⁰ Nowe I beseeche you, brethren, by the Name of our Lord Iesus Christ, that ye all speake one thing, and that there be no dissensions among you: but be ye knit together in one mind, and in one iudgement. ¹¹ For it hath bene declared vnto me, my brethren, of you by them that are of the house of Cloe, that there are contentions among you. ¹² Nowe this I say, that euery one of you saith, I am Pauls, and I am Apollos, and I am Cephas, and I am Christs. ¹³ Is Christ deuided? was Paul crucified for you? either were ye baptized into the name of Paul?
