²⁰ For I say unto you, that except your righteousness shall exceed [the righteousness] of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no wise enter into the kingdom of heaven.

⁴ For Christ is the end of the law unto righteousness to every one that believeth.

¹⁴ But and if ye should suffer for righteousness’ sake, blessed [are ye]: and fear not their fear, neither be troubled;

¹⁰ And the God of all grace, who called you unto his eternal glory in Christ, after that ye have suffered a little while, shall himself perfect, stablish, strengthen you.

²¹ Him who knew no sin he made [to be] sin on our behalf; that we might become the righteousness of God in him.

²² But flee youthful lusts, and follow after righteousness, faith, love, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.

³ Blessed are they that keep judgment, and he that doeth righteousness at all times.

¹⁵ He that walketh righteously, and speaketh uprightly; he that despiseth the gain of oppressions, that shaketh his hands from holding of bribes, that stoppeth his ears from hearing of blood, and shutteth his eyes from looking upon evil; ¹⁶ He shall dwell on high: his place of defence shall be the munitions of rocks: his bread shall be given [him]; his waters shall be sure. ¹⁷ Thine eyes shall see the king in his beauty: they shall behold a far stretching land.

¹ Being therefore justified by faith, let us have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ; ² through whom also we have had our access by faith into this grace wherein we stand; and let us rejoice in hope of the glory of God. ³ And not only so, but let us also rejoice in our tribulations: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; ⁴ and patience, probation; and probation, hope: ⁵ and hope putteth not to shame; because the love of God hath been shed abroad in our hearts through the Holy Ghost which was given unto us.

²⁹ If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that every one also that doeth righteousness is begotten of him.

⁷ [My] little children, let no man lead you astray: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous:
