²⁰ In that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.

¹⁹ Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are [these], fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, ²⁰ idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strife, jealousies, wraths, factions, divisions, heresies, ²¹ envyings, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I forewarn you, even as I did forewarn you, that they which practise such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

² I know a man in Christ, fourteen years ago (whether in the body, I know not; or whether out of the body, I know not; God knoweth), such a one caught up even to the third heaven. ³ And I know such a man (whether in the body, or apart from the body, I know not; God knoweth), ⁴ how that he was caught up into Paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.

²⁰ I have been crucified with Christ; yet I live; [and yet] no longer I, but Christ liveth in me: and that [life] which I now live in the flesh I live in faith, [the faith] which is in the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself up for me.

³ seeing that his divine power hath granted unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that called us by his own glory and virtue; ⁴ whereby he hath granted unto us his precious and exceeding great promises; that through these ye may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world by lust.

⁶ And the soul that turneth unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto the wizards, to go a whoring after them, I will even set my face against that soul, and will cut him off from among his people.

¹⁰ There shall not be found with thee any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one that useth divination, one that practiseth augury, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, ¹¹ or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. ¹² For whosoever doeth these things is an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee.

¹³ Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he shall guide you into all the truth: for he shall not speak from himself; but what things soever he shall hear, [these] shall he speak: and he shall declare unto you the things that are to come.

⁸ Jesus Christ [is] the same yesterday and today, [yea] and for ever. ⁹ Be not carried away by divers and strange teachings: for it is good that the heart be stablished by grace; not by meats, wherein they that occupied themselves were not profited.

⁵ For there is one God, one mediator also between God and men, [himself] man, Christ Jesus,

¹⁴ And no marvel; for even Satan fashioneth himself into an angel of light.

²¹ For no prophecy ever came by the will of man: but men spake from God, being moved by the Holy Ghost.

⁸ Take heed lest there shall be any one that maketh spoil of you through his philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ:

¹ But the Spirit saith expressly, that in later times some shall fall away from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils,

¹ Beloved, believe not every spirit, but prove the spirits, whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

¹² But we received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us by God. ¹³ Which things also we speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Spirit teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. ¹⁴ Now the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him; and he cannot know them, because they are spiritually judged. ¹⁵ But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, and he himself is judged of no man. ¹⁶ For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he should instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.
