Proverbs 7:1-27

1 ¶ My son, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with thee. 2 Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of thine eye. 3 Bind them upon thy fingers; write them upon the tablet of thine heart. 4 Say unto wisdom, Thou art my sister, and call understanding thy kinswoman: 5 That they may keep thee from the woman belonging to someone else, from the stranger who flatters with her words. 6 ¶ For at the window of my house I looked through my casement 7 and beheld among the simple ones, I discerned among the youths, a young man void of understanding, 8 passing through the street near her corner; and he went the way to her house, 9 in the twilight, in the evening, in the black and dark night; 10 and, behold, a woman met him with the attire of a harlot, and subtil of heart. 11 (She is loud and stubborn; her feet do not abide in her house: 12 Now without, now in the streets, she lies in wait at every corner.) 13 So she caught him and kissed him and with an impudent face said unto him, 14 I had promised sacrifices of peace; today I have payed my vows. 15 Therefore I came forth to meet thee, diligently to seek thy face, and I have found thee. 16 I have decked my bed with coverings of tapestry, with carved works, with fine linen of Egypt. 17 I have perfumed my bed with myrrh, aloes, and cinnamon. 18 Come, let us take our fill of love until the morning; let us solace ourselves with loves. 19 For the husband is not at home; he is gone a long journey: 20 He has taken a bag of money with him and will come home at the appointed feast day. 21 With her much fair speech she caused him to yield; with the flattering of her lips she persuaded him. 22 He went after her straightway, as an ox goes to the slaughter or as a fool to the correction of the stocks, 23 until the arrow pierces through his liver. He is as a bird struggling in the snare and not knowing that it is against his own life. 24 ¶ Hearken unto me now therefore, O ye sons, and attend to the words of my mouth. 25 Let not thine heart decline to her ways; do not go astray in her paths. 26 For she has caused many to fall down dead; yea, all the strong men have been slain by her. 27 Her house is the way to Sheol, going down to the chambers of death.

Romans 1:24-32

24 Therefore God also gave them over to the lusts of their own hearts for uncleanness, to contaminate their own bodies between themselves, 25 who changed the truth of God into a lie and worshipped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed for all ages. Amen. 26 For this cause God gave them up unto shameful affections, for even their women changed the natural use into that which is against nature; 27 and likewise also the males, leaving the natural use of the females, burned in their lust one toward another, males with males committing nefarious works and receiving in themselves the recompense that proceeded from their error. 28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a perverse understanding, to do those things which are not convenient, 29 being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, 30 backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31 without understanding, covenant breakers, without natural affection, implacable, without mercy. 32 Who having understood the righteousness of God, they did not understand that those who do such things are worthy of death, not only those that do the same, but even those who encourage those that do them.

2 Peter 2:12-14

12 But these, speaking evil of the things that they do not understand (as natural animals without reason, who are made to be taken and destroyed), shall utterly perish in their own corruption, 13 receiving the reward of their unrighteousness, as those that count it pleasure to live luxuriously every day. These are spots and blemishes, who eat together with you, while at the same time they revel in their deceit, 14 having their eyes full of adultery, and not knowing how to cease from sin, baiting unstable souls, having their heart exercised in covetous practices; cursed sons,

Isaiah 3:16-17

16 ¶ Moreover the LORD saith, Because the daughters of Zion are haughty and walk with stretched forth necks and wanton eyes, walking and swaggering as they go, and making a tinkling with their feet: 17 Therefore the Lord will make bare the crown of the head of the daughters of Zion, and the LORD will uncover that which they are ashamed of.

Exodus 20:17

17 Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s wife, nor his manslave, nor his maidslave, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour’s.

Philippians 4:8

8 Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are honest, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is any praise, exercise yourselves in these things.

1 John 2:1-29

1 ¶ My little children, I write these things unto you, that ye sin not; and if anyone has sinned, we have an Advocate before the Father, Jesus, the righteous Christ; 2 and he is the reconciliation for our sins, and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. 3 ¶ And in this we do know that we have known him if we keep his commandments. 4 He that says, I have known him, and does not keep his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 5 But whosoever keeps his word, in him verily is the charity of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him. 6 He that says he abides in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked. 7 ¶ Brethren, I write no new commandment unto you, but an old commandment which ye have had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which ye have heard from the beginning. 8 Again, a new commandment I write unto you, which is the truth in him and in you, because the darkness is past, and the true light now shines. 9 He that says he is in the light and hates his brother is still in darkness. 10 He that loves his brother abides in the light, and there is no occasion of stumbling in him. 11 But he that hates his brother is in darkness and walks in darkness and does not know where he goes, because that darkness hath blinded his eyes. 12 ¶ I write unto you, little children, that your sins are forgiven you for his name’s sake. 13 I write unto you, fathers, that ye have known him that is from the beginning. I write unto you, young men, that ye have overcome the wicked one. I write unto you, little children, that ye have known the Father. 14 I have written unto you, fathers, that ye have known him that is from the beginning. I have written unto you, young men, that ye are strong and the word of God abides in you, and ye have overcome the wicked one. 15 Love not the world neither the things that are in the world. If anyone loves the world, the charity of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. 17 And the world passes away and the lust thereof, but he that does the will of God abides for ever. 18 ¶ Little children, it is the last hour, and as ye have heard that the antichrist comes, likewise there are also beginning to be many antichrists, by which we know that it is the last time. 19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us; but this happened that it might be made manifest that they were not all of us. 20 ¶ But ye have the anointing of the Holy One, and ye know all things. 21 I have not written unto you as if ye ignore the truth, but as unto those that know it, and that no lie is of the truth. 22 Who is a liar but he that denies that Jesus is the Christ? This same is antichrist, who denies the Father and the Son. 23 Whosoever denies the Son, the same does not have the Father. Whosoever confesses the Son, has the Father also. 24 Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. For if that which ye have heard from the beginning shall abide in you, ye also shall continue to abide in the Son and in the Father. 25 And this is the promise that he has promised us, even eternal life. 26 These things I have written unto you concerning those that seduce you. 27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abides in you, and ye do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you of all things and is truth, and is no lie; and even as it has taught you, abide ye in him. 28 ¶ And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence and not be ashamed before him at his coming. 29 If ye know that he is righteous, also know that any one that does righteousness is born of him.

2 Chronicles 7:14

14 if my people, upon whom my name is invoked, shall humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from the heavens and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

Ecclesiastes 5:2

2 Do not be rash with thy mouth and do not let thy heart be hasty to utter any thing before God, for God is in heaven and thou upon earth; therefore let thy words be few.

Proverbs 6:24-25

24 to keep thee from the evil woman, from the flattery of the tongue of a strange woman. 25 Lust not after her beauty in thine heart, neither let her take thee with her eyes.

Titus 2:11-12

11 ¶ For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, 12 teaching us that denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live temperately, righteously, and godly in this present world;

Matthew 5:28

28 but I say unto you, That whosoever looks on a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart.
