⁷ ¶ The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul; the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.

² and saying, Repent ye, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

⁴² Watch therefore, for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.

²¹ for then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. ²² And if those days were not shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.

¹ ¶ Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem, ² saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? We have seen his star in the east and are come to worship him. ³ When Herod the king had heard these things, he was troubled and all Jerusalem with him. ⁴ And when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he asked them where the Christ should be born. ⁵ And they said unto him, In Bethlehem of Judaea, for thus it is written by the prophet, ⁶ And thou Bethlehem, in the land of Juda, art not the least among the princes of Juda, for out of thee shall come a Leader that shall shepherd my people Israel.

²² And if those days were not shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.

¹³ But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

¹³ Enter ye in at the narrow gate, for the way that leads to destruction is wide and spacious, and those who follow it are many; ¹⁴ because narrow is the gate, and confined is the way which leads unto life, and there are few that find it.

⁴⁴ Therefore be ye also ready; the Son of man is to come in the hour that ye think not.

³⁶ Watch ye therefore and pray always that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass and to stand before the Son of man.

¹² ¶ And the first day of the feast of unleavened bread, when they sacrificed the passover, his disciples said unto him, Where wilt thou that we go and prepare that thou may eat the passover?

¹² But when they believed Philip preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.

¹⁶ But rise and stand upon thy feet, for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things which thou hast seen and of those things in which I will appear unto thee; ¹⁷ delivering thee from the people and from the Gentiles, unto whom now I send thee ¹⁸ to open their eyes and to turn them from darkness to light and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive remission of sins and inheritance among those who are sanctified by the faith that is in me.

¹⁷ Then some of his disciples said among themselves, What is this that he says unto us, A little while, and ye shall not see me; and again, a little while, and ye shall see me; and, Because I go to the Father?

²⁸ Then Agrippa said unto Paul, Almost thou persuadest me to be a Christian. ²⁹ And Paul said, I desire before God that by little or by much, not only thou, but also all that hear me this day, were such as I am, except these bonds. ³⁰ And when he had said these things, the king rose up and the governor and Bernice and those that sat with them; ³¹ and when they were gone aside, they talked between themselves, saying, This man does nothing worthy of death or of bonds. ³² Then Agrippa said unto Festus, This man might have been set at liberty if he had not appealed unto Caesar.

³³ And he took them the same hour of the night and washed their stripes and was baptized, he and all his, straightway.

¹⁶ This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

⁴ who gave himself for our sins that he might deliver us from this present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father,

³⁰ For the times of this ignorance God overlooked, but he now commands all men everywhere to repent ³¹ because he has appointed a day, in which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he has ordained; of whom he has given assurance unto all men in that he has raised him from the dead.

³⁷ ¶ Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? ³⁸ Then Peter said unto them, Repent and be baptized each one of you into the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. ³⁹ For the promise is unto you and to your children and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

¹⁷ Therefore if anyone is in Christ, they are a new creation: old things are passed away; behold, all things are made new.

¹⁹ Repent ye therefore and be converted that your sins may be blotted out, for the times of refreshing of the presence of the Lord are come;

³² and ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free.

¹³ ¶ And believing, the God of hope fills you with all joy and peace that ye may abound in hope by the virtue of the Holy Spirit.

⁸ Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.

¹⁹ Repent ye therefore and be converted that your sins may be blotted out, for the times of refreshing of the presence of the Lord are come; ²⁰ who has sent Jesus Christ, who before was preached unto you, ²¹ whom it is certainly necessary that the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God has spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the age began.

²² that ye put off everything concerning the old way of life, that is, the old man who corrupts himself according to deceitful desires,

¹⁶ He that believes and is baptized shall be saved, but he that believes not shall be condemned.

³⁸ Then Peter said unto them, Repent and be baptized each one of you into the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
