Genesis 1:27

27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

Exodus 4:10-12

10 ¶ Then Moses said unto the LORD, O my Lord, I am not eloquent, neither up until now, nor since thou hast spoken unto thy slave; but I am slow of speech and of a slow tongue. 11 And the LORD said unto him, Who has made man’s mouth? Or who makes the dumb or the deaf or the seeing or the blind? Am not I the LORD? 12 Now therefore go and I will be with thy mouth and teach thee what thou shalt say.

Psalms 139:1-24

1 To the Overcomer, A Psalm of David. ¶ O LORD, thou hast searched me and known me. 2 Thou knowest my sitting down and my rising up, thou dost understand my thoughts from afar. 3 Thou hast girded my walk and my rest, and hast prepared all my ways. 4 For the word is not even upon my tongue, and, behold, O LORD, thou dost know it altogether. 5 Thou hast formed my face and my insides and laid thine hand upon me. 6 Thy knowledge is wonderful beyond my ability to comprehend; it is high, I cannot understand it. 7 ¶ Where shall I go from thy spirit? or where shall I flee from thy presence? 8 If I ascend to the heavens, thou art there: if I make my bed in Sheol, behold, thou art there. 9 If I take the wings of the dawn and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, 10 even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me. 11 If I say, Surely the darkness shall cover me; even the night shall shine because of me. 12 Even the darkness does not hide from thee; but the night shines as the day; the darkness is as the light. 13 For thou hast possessed my kidneys: thou hast covered me in my mother’s womb. 14 I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; marvellous are thy works, and that, my soul knows right well. 15 My body was not hid from thee, even though I was made in secret and brought together in the lowest parts of the earth. 16 Thine eyes did see my substance yet being imperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which were then formed, without lacking one of them. 17 ¶ Therefore, how precious are thy thoughts unto me, O God! How great is the sum of them! 18 If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand; when I awake, I am still with thee. 19 Surely thou wilt slay the wicked, O God; depart from me therefore, ye bloodthirsty men. 20 For they speak against thee wickedly, and thine enemies take thy name in vain. 21 Do I not hate all those, O LORD, that hate thee? and am not I grieved with those that rise up against thee? 22 I hate them with perfect hatred; I count them mine enemies. 23 Search me, O God, and know my heart; try me and know my thoughts 24 and see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way eternal.

Matthew 18:2-5

2 And Jesus called a little child unto him and set him in the midst of them 3 and said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of the heavens. 4 Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of the heavens. 5 And whosoever shall receive one such little child in my name receives me.

Matthew 17:14-18

14 ¶ And when they were come to the multitude, there came to him a certain man, kneeling down to him, and saying, 15 Lord, have mercy on my son, for he is lunatic and suffers miserably; for many times he has fallen into the fire and often into the water. 16 And I brought him to thy disciples, and they could not cure him. 17 Then Jesus answered and said, O unfaithful and crooked generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I suffer you? Bring him here to me. 18 And Jesus rebuked him, and the demon departed out of him and the child was cured from that very hour.

Mark 9:17-29

17 And one of the multitude answering, said, Master, I have brought unto thee my son, who has a dumb spirit; 18 and wherever he takes him, he tears him, and he foams and gnashes with his teeth and pines away; and I spoke to thy disciples that they should cast him out, and they could not. 19 Answering, he said unto him, O unfaithful generation, how long shall I be with you? How long must I suffer you? Bring him unto me. 20 And they brought him unto him; and when he saw him, straightway the spirit tore him; and he fell on the ground and wallowed foaming. 21 And Jesus asked his father, How long ago is it since this came unto him? And he said, Of a child. 22 And ofttimes it has cast him into the fire and into the waters to kill him, but if thou canst do any thing, help us, having mercy on us. 23 And Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe this, all things are possible to him that believes. 24 And straightway the father of the child crying out with tears, said, Lord, I believe; help thou my unbelief. 25 When Jesus saw that the multitude concurred, he rebuked the unclean spirit, saying unto him, Thou dumb and deaf spirit, I command thee, come out of him and enter no more into him. 26 Then the spirit, crying out and rending him sore, came out; and he remained as one dead, insomuch that many said that he was dead. 27 But Jesus, taking him by the hand, straightened him up; and he arose. 28 And when he was come into the house, his disciples asked him privately, Why could not we cast him out? 29 And he said unto them, This kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting.

Mark 9:19-50

30 ¶ And having left there, they walked together through Galilee; and he did not wish that anyone should know of it. 31 For he went on teaching his disciples and said unto them, The Son of man is delivered into hands of men, and they shall kill him; and after he is dead, he shall rise the third day. 32 But they did not understand this word and were afraid to ask him. 33 And he came to Capernaum; and being in the house he asked them, What was it that ye disputed among yourselves on the way? 34 But they were silent; for on the way they had disputed among themselves, who should be the greatest. 35 Then, sitting down, he called the twelve and said unto them, If anyone desires to be first, the same shall be last of all and servant of all. 36 And taking a child, he set him in the midst of them; and taking him in his arms, he said unto them, 37 Whosoever shall receive one of such children in my name, receives me; and whosoever shall receive me, receives not me, but him that sent me. 38 And John answered him, saying, Master, we saw one casting out demons in thy name and he does not follow us; and we forbade him because he does not follow us. 39 But Jesus said, Forbid him not, for there is no one who does a miracle in my name that can then speak evil of me. 40 For he that is not against us is for us. 41 ¶ For whosoever shall give you a cup of water to drink in my name because ye are of the Christ, verily I say unto you, he shall not lose his reward. 42 And whosoever shall be a stumbling block to one of these little ones that believe in me, it would be better for him if a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he were cast into the sea. 43 And if thy hand causes thee to fall, cut it off; it is better for thee to enter into life maimed than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that can never be quenched, 44 where their worm does not die, and the fire is never quenched. 45 And if thy foot causes thee to fall, cut it off; it is better for thee to enter halt into life than having two feet to be cast into hell, into the fire that can never be quenched, 46 where their worm does not die, and the fire is never quenched. 47 And if thine eye causes thee to fall, pluck it out; it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye than having two eyes to be cast into hell, 48 where their worm does not die, and the fire is never quenched. 49 For every one shall be salted with fire, and every sacrifice shall be salted with salt. 50 Salt is good, but if the salt has lost its saltness, with what will ye season it? Have salt in yourselves, and have peace one with another.

John 12:47

47 And if anyone hears my words and believes not, I judge him not, for I came not to judge the world but to save the world.

13 And all thy sons shall be taught of the LORD; and the peace of thy sons shall be multiplied.

1 Corinthians 1:26-29

26 For look upon your vocation, brothers, that ye are not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, 27 but rather God has chosen that which is the foolishness of the world to confound the wise, and God has chosen that which is the weakness of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty; 28 and that which is vile of the world and that which is despised God has chosen, and things which are not, to bring to nought the things that are, 29 that no flesh should glory in his presence.

Exodus 4:11

11 And the LORD said unto him, Who has made man’s mouth? Or who makes the dumb or the deaf or the seeing or the blind? Am not I the LORD?

John 9:1-3

1 ¶ And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man who was blind from his birth. 2 And his disciples asked him, saying, Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind? 3 Jesus answered, Neither has this man sinned nor his parents, but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.
