¹ To His Eminence; A Psalm by David. The heavens scribe the honor of El; and the expanse tells his handiwork. ² Day to day gushes sayings and night to night shows knowledge. ³ There is neither saying nor word where their voice is not heard. ⁴ Their line goes throughout all the earth and their utterances to the end of the world. In them he sets a tent for the sun: ⁵ and he, as a groom coming from his canopy; rejoices as the mighty to run the path. ⁶ His source is from the end of the heavens and his circuit to the ends thereof; and naught is hid from the heat. ⁷ The torah of Yah Veh is perfect, restoring the soul; the witness of Yah Veh is trustworthy, enwisening the gullible; ⁸ the precepts of Yah Veh are straight, cheering the heart; the misvah of Yah Veh is pure, enlightening the eyes; ⁹ the awe of Yah Veh is pure, standing eternally; the judgments of Yah Veh are truth, justified altogether. ¹⁰ More to be desired than gold, yes, than much pure gold; and sweeter than honey and the droppings of the honeycomb. ¹¹ Also by them your servant enlightens; and in guarding them is a great final result. ¹² Inadvertent errors - who discerns? Exonerate me from the hidden; ¹³ also spare your servant from the arrogant that they not reign over me: and I am integrious and exonerated from the great rebellion. ¹⁴ May the sayings of my mouth and the meditation of my heart, be pleasing at your face, O Yah Veh, my rock and my redeemer.

¹ To His Eminence; Psalm by David: when Nathan the prophet comes to him, after he went in to Bath Sheba. Grant me charism, O Elohim, according to your mercy; according to the abundance of your tender mercies wipe out my rebellions: ² launder me aboundingly from my perversity and purify me from my sin: ³ for I know my rebellions; and my sin is continually in front of me. ⁴ Against you - you only, I sinned and worked this evil in your eyes; so that you are just when you word and pure when you judge. ⁵ Behold, I writhed in perversity; and in sin my mother conceived me. ⁶ Behold, you desire truth in the reins; and in the hidden you have me know wisdom. ⁷ Purify me with hyssop, and I am purified; launder me, and I am whiter than snow: ⁸ have me hear rejoicing and cheerfulness; so that the bones you crush twirl. ⁹ Hide your face from my sins and wipe out all my perversities; ¹⁰ create a pure heart within me, O Elohim; and renew a steadfast spirit within me. ¹¹ Neither cast me from your face; nor take your holy spirit from me: ¹² restore to me the rejoicing of your salvation; and uphold me with your free voluntary spirit. ¹³ I teach rebels your ways; and sinners return to you. ¹⁴ Rescue me from bloods, O Elohim - Elohim of my salvation; and my tongue shouts of your justness: ¹⁵ O Adonay, open my lips; and my mouth tells your halal. ¹⁶ For you desire not sacrifice; else I give it: you delight not in holocaust. ¹⁷ The sacrifices of Elohim are a broken spirit; a broken and a crushed heart, O Elohim, you despise not. ¹⁸ Well-please in your good pleasure to Siyon; build the walls of Yeru Shalem: ¹⁹ then delight in the sacrifices of justness with holocaust and total holocaust; then they holocaust bullocks on your sacrifice altar.

¹ Halalu Yah! Halal El in his holies; halal him in the expanse of his strength; ² halal him for his might; halal him according to his abundant greatness; ³ halal him with the blast of the shophar; halal him with the bagpipe and harp; ⁴ halal him with the tambourine and round dance; halal him with strummers and woodwinds; ⁵ halal him on the hearkening cymbals; halal him on the clanging cymbals. ⁶ All you who breathe, halal Yah. Halalu Yah!

⁸ the grass withers; the blossom withers: but the word of our Elohim rises eternally.

¹⁹ speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual odes, singing and psalming in your heart to Adonay;

¹ He who settles in the covert of Elyon stays under the shadow of Shadday. ² I say of Yah Veh, My refuge and my stronghold; my Elohim; in him I confide: ³ he rescues you from the snare of the snarer - from the calamitous pestilence: ⁴ he covers you with his pinions and under his wings you seek refuge: his truth are your shield and buckler. ⁵ Neither awe for the dread of night nor the arrow that flies by day; ⁶ neither for the pestilence that walks in darkness nor for the ruin that devastates at noonday. ⁷ A thousand fall at your side and myriads at your right; but they approach you not. ⁸ But look with your eyes and see the retribution of the wicked. ⁹ Because you, O Yah Veh, my refuge set Elyon your habitation. ¹⁰ Neither evil happens you, nor any plague approach your tent; ¹¹ for he misvahs his angels over you, to guard you in all your ways: ¹² hey lift you in their palms lest you stub your foot against a stone: ¹³ you tread on the roaring lion and asp; and trample the whelp and the monster under foot. ¹⁴ Because he attaches himself to me, I slip him away; loft him, because he knows my name. ¹⁵ He calls on me and I answer him; I am with him in tribulation; I rescue him and honor him: ¹⁶ with length of days I satisfy him and have him see my salvation.

¹ By David. Neither inflame because of vilifiers nor envious against workers of wickedness. ² For they are quickly clipped as the grass and wither as the green sprout. ³ Confide in Yah Veh and work good; thus you tabernacle in the land and tend to trustworthiness. ⁴ And delight yourself in Yah Veh and he gives you the requests of your heart. ⁵ Roll your way to Yah Veh; confide in him; and he works ⁶ and brings forth your justness as the light and your judgment as the noonday. ⁷ Be still in Yah Veh and writhe for him; inflame not because of him who prospers in his way - because of the man who works intrigue. ⁸ Slacken wrath and forsake fury; inflame not to vilify. ⁹ For vilifiers are cut off; and they who await Yah Veh possess the earth. ¹⁰ For yet a little, and the wicked are not; yes, discern his place and it is not: ¹¹ and the humble possess the earth; and delight themselves in the abundance of shalom. ¹² The wicked intrigues against the just and gnashes on him with his teeth. ¹³ Adonay laughs at him; for he sees his day coming. ¹⁴ The wicked draw the sword and bend their bow to fell the humble and needy and to slaughter the straight of way. ¹⁵ Their sword enters their own heart - their bows break. ¹⁶ Better is the little of the just than the abundance of many wicked. ¹⁷ For the arms of the wicked break and Yah Veh upholds the just. ¹⁸ Yah Veh knows the days of the integrious - that their inheritance is eternal. ¹⁹ They shame not in the evil time; they satiate in the days of famine. ²⁰ But the wicked destruct and the enemies of Yah Veh, as the esteem of rams, are finished off - into smoke are finished off. ²¹ The wicked borrows and shalams not and the just grants charism and gives: ²² for his blessed possess the earth; and his abased are cut off. ²³ The paces of the mighty are established by Yah Veh; and he delights in his way: ²⁴ though he falls, he is not cast down for Yah Veh upholds him with his hand. ²⁵ I was a lad and am aged; yet I neither saw the just forsaken nor his seed seeking bread: ²⁶ all days he grants charism and lends; and his seed is for a blessing. ²⁷ Turn from evil and work good; and tabernacle eternally. ²⁸ For Yah Veh loves judgment and forsakes not his mercied - guarded eternally; and the seed of the wicked is cut off. ²⁹ The just possess the land and tabernacle therein eternally. ³⁰ The mouth of the just meditates wisdom and his tongue words judgment. ³¹ The torah of his Elohim is in his heart; none of his steps waver. ³² The wicked watches for the just and seeks to deathify him. ³³ Yah Veh neither forsakes him in his hand, nor judges him wicked when he is judged. ³⁴ Await Yah Veh and guard his way and he exalts you to possess the land; when the wicked are cut off, you see. ³⁵ I saw the wicked tyrant stripped naked as a green native; ³⁶ yet he passes away; and behold, he is not; yes, I seek him, but find him not. ³⁷ Regard the integrious and see the straight; for the finality of that man is shalom. ³⁸ The rebels desolate together - the finality of the wicked is cut off; ³⁹ the salvation of the just is of Yah Veh - their stronghold in the time of tribulation. ⁴⁰ Yah Veh helps them and slips them away - slips them away from the wicked and saves them, because they seek refuge in him.

Blithe - the man who neither walks in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor settles in the settlement of the scornful. ² But his delight is in the torah of Yah Veh; and in his torah he meditates day and night; ³ and being as a tree transplanted by the rivulets of water, giving his fruit in his time: his leaf withers not; and whatever he works, prospers. ⁴ Not so the wicked; but are as chaff which the wind disperses. ⁵ So, neither the wicked rise in the judgment, nor sinners in the witness of the just. ⁶ For Yah Veh knows the way of the just; and the way of the wicked destructs.

Yah Veh Raah; I lack not. ² He reposes me in sprouting folds; he guides me beside the waters of rest: ³ He restores my soul; he leads me in the paths of justness for sake of his name. ⁴ Yes, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I awe no evil; for you are with me; your scion and your crutch sigh over me: ⁵ you arrange a table at my face in the presence of my tribulators; you anoint my head with ointment; my cup satiates. ⁶ Surely goodness and mercy pursue me all the days of my life; and I settle in the house of Yah Veh for a length of days.
