²⁵ And Eli Yah says to the prophets of Baal, Choose one bullock for yourselves and work it first; for you are many; and call on the name of your elohim, but set no fire. ²⁶ And they take the bullock he gives them and they work it; and call on the name of Baal from morning even until noon saying, O Baal, answer us. - and there is neither voice, nor answer: and they leap on the sacrifice altar they worked. ²⁷ And so be it, at noon, Eli Yah mocks them and says, Call out with a great voice; for he is elohim: either he meditates or withdraws or journeys or perhaps he sleeps and wakens. ²⁸ And they call with a great voice and incise themselves according to their judgment with swords and javelins, until blood pours over them: ²⁹ and so be it, noon passes, and they prophesy until the holocaust of the offering; and there is neither voice nor any answering, nor any hearkening.

⁴ Their idols are silver and gold the work of human hands: ⁵ mouths have they, but they word not; eyes have they, but they see not; ⁶ ears have they, but they hear not; nostrils have they, but they scent not; ⁷ hands have they, but they touch not; feet have they, but they walk not; they mutter not through their throat. ⁸ They who work them are like them; thus is every one who confides in them.

³² And that which ascends into your spirit, saying, We become as the goyim - as the families of the lands to minister timber and stone surely becomes not.

²¹ because when they knew Elohim they neither glorified him as Elohim, nor eucharistized; but became vain in their reasonings and darkened their uncomprehending heart: ²² professing themselves to be wise they became fools; ²³ and changed the glory of the uncorruptible Elohim into an icon likened to corruptible humanity and to flyers and quadrupeds and creepers.

²⁵ whom he gathers together with the workers of such occupation, and says, Men, you understand that by this work we prosper:

²¹ Little children: guard yourselves from idols. Amen.

⁸ See to it lest anyone seduce you through philosophy and vain delusion - after the tradition of humanity, - after the elements of the cosmos and not after Messiah.

BLESSING OF OBEDIENCE
Work neither idols nor sculptiles nor raise a monolith; nor give any imagery of stone in your land to prostrate thereto: for I - Yah Veh your Elohim.

¹⁹ and gave their elohim into the fire: for they are no elohim - only the work of human hands, timber and stone: they destroyed them.

²² And you foul the overlay of your sculptiles of silver and the ephod of your moltings of gold: you cast them away as a menstruous cloth; you say to it, Get you hence.

⁸ They who observe vain vanities forsake their own mercy;

¹⁸ What profit is the sculptile to the former who sculpts - or the molten, to a teacher of falsehoods, Confides the former of its form to work mute idols?

⁹ They who form a sculptile all of them are a waste; and their desires benefit not: and they are their own witnesses; they neither see, nor know to shame. ¹⁰ Who ever formed an el or poured a sculptile that is not beneficial? ¹¹ Behold, all his companions shame: and the engravers are of humanity: they all gather; together they stand: they fear; together they shame. ¹² The engraver of iron works with the ax in the coals and forms with hammers and makes with the force of his arms: yes, he famishes and his force is not: he drinks no water and wearies.

¹⁵ The idols of the goyim are silver and gold - the work of human hands: ¹⁶ mouths, and they word not; eyes, and they see not; ¹⁷ ears, and they hearken not; nose, and their is no spirit/wind in their mouth.

⁵ Your manner, unavaricious; being satisfied with the present. For he said, I neither no way let loose of you nor no way forsake.

⁴ Work not to yourself any sculptile or any similitude of that in the heavens above or that in the earth beneath or that in the water under the earth:

³ Have no other elohim above my face.
