2 Kings 2:1-25

1
ELI YAH ASCENDS TO THE HEAVENS
And so be it, Yah Veh ascends Eli Yah into the heavens by a storm, and Eli Yah and Eli Shua go from Gilgal. 2 And Eli Yah says to Eli Shua, Settle here, I beseech you; for Yah Veh sends me to Beth El. And Eli Shua says, Yah Veh lives and your soul lives; I leave you not. - and they descend to Beth El. 3 And the sons of the prophets at Beth El go to Eli Shua and say to him, Know you that today Yah Veh takes your adoni from your head? And he says, Yes, I know; hush. 4 And Eli Yah says to him, Eli Shua, settle here, I beseech you; for Yah Veh sends me to Yericho. And he says, Yah Veh lives and your soul lives; I leave you not. - and they come to Yericho. 5 And the sons of the prophets at Yericho come near to Eli Shua and say to him, Know you that today Yah Veh takes your adoni from your head? And he says, Yes, I know it; hush. 6 And Eli Yah says to him, Settle, I beseech you, here; for Yah Veh sends me to Yarden. And he says, Yah Veh lives and your soul lives; I leave you not. - and the two go on. 7 And fifty men of the sons of the prophets go and stand opposite afar off; and the two stand by Yarden; 8 and Eli Yah takes his mighty mantle and rolls it up and smites the waters: and they halve here and there so that the two pass over on parched area. 9 And so be it, they pass over, and Eli Yah says to Eli Shua, Ask what I work for you ere I am taken from you. And Eli Shua says, I beseech you, that a twofold mouth of your spirit be on me. 10 And he says, You ask hard: if you see me taken from you, so be it; and if not, so be it not. 11 And so be it, in walking, they walk and word; and behold, a chariot of fire and horses of fire; and they separate between them both: and Eli Yah ascends by a storm into the heavens. 12 And Eli Shua sees it and cries, My father! My father! The chariot of Yisra El and the cavalry! And he sees him no more: and he takes hold of his own clothes and shreds them in two shreds: 13 and he lifts the mighty mantle of Eli Yah that fell from him and returns and stands by the lip of Yarden; 14 and he takes the mighty mantle of Eli Yah that fell from him and smites the waters and says, Where is Yah Veh Elohim of Eli Yah? And he smites the waters and they halve here and there; and Eli Shua passes over. 15 And when the sons of the prophets opposite Yericho see him, they say, The spirit of Eli Yah rests on Eli Shua. And they come to meet him and prostrate themselves to the earth in front of him: 16 and they say to him, Behold now, there are with your servants fifty sons of valour; have them go, we beseech you, to seek your adoni - unless the Spirit of Yah Veh lifted him and cast him on one mountain or in one valley. And he says, Send not. 17 And they urge him until he shames, and he says, Send. And they send fifty men and they seek three days, and find him not: 18 and they return to him - and he settles at Yericho - and he says to them, Said I not to you, Go not? 19
WATERS HEALED
And the men of the city say to Eli Shua, Behold, I beseech you, the site of this city is good, as my adoni sees: but the water is evil and the earth aborts. 20 And he says, Take me a new cruse and set salt therein. - and they take it to him; 21 and he goes to the spring of the waters, and casts the salt in there and says, Thus says Yah Veh, I heal these waters; there is no more death or barren. 22 - and the waters are healed to this day, according to the word Eli Shua worded. 23
ELI SHUA RIDICULED
And he ascends from thence to Beth El: and he ascends by the way, and little lads go from the city and ridicule him and say to him, Ascend, baldy! Ascend, baldy! 24 And he faces back and sees them and abases them in the name of Yah Veh: and two she bears come from the forest and split forty-two of the children. 25 And from there he goes to mount Karmel; and from there he returns to Shomeron.

RAVENS SUSTAIN ELI YAH
And Eli Yah the Tisbehiy of the settlers of Gilad, says to Ach Ab, Yah Veh Elohim of Yisra El lives, at whose face I stand, neither dew nor rain becomes these years, except as according to my mouth. 2 And the word of Yah Veh comes to him, saying, 3 Go from here and face eastward and hide yourself by the wadi Kerith at the face of Yarden: 4 and so be it, drink of the wadi; and I misvah the ravens to sustain you there. 5 So he goes and works according to the word of Yah Veh: he goes and settles by the wadi Kerith at the face of Yarden: 6 and the ravens bring him bread and flesh in the morning and bread and flesh in the evening; and he drinks of the wadi: 7 and so be it, at the end of days, the wadi withers, there being no rain in the land.

Stand on the mount at the face of Yah Veh. And behold, Yah Veh passes by and a great and strong wind splits the mountains and breaks the rocks at the face of Yah Veh; Yah Veh is not in the wind: and after the wind, a quake; Yah Veh is not in the quake: 12 and after the quake, a fire; Yah Veh is not in the fire: and after the fire, a still thin voice: 13 and so be it, Eli Yah hears and veils his face in his mighty mantle; and goes and stands in the opening of the cave. And behold, a voice says to him, What - to you here, Eli Yah? 14 And he says, In being zealous, I am zealous for Yah Veh Elohim Sabaoth: because the sons of Yisra El forsook your covenant, demolished your sacrifice altars and slaughtered your prophets with the sword; and I - I only, remain; and they seek to take away my soul. 15 And Yah Veh says to him, Go! Return on your way to the wilderness of Dammeseq; and go in and anoint Haza El sovereign over Aram; 16 and anoint Yah Hu the son of Nimshi sovereign over Yisra El; and anoint Eli Shua the son of Shaphat of Abel Mecholah prophet in your stead: 17 and so be it, he who escapes the sword of Haza El Yah Hu deathifies; and he who escapes the sword of Yah Hu Eli Shua deathifies: 18 and I survive seven thousand in Yisra El - all the knees who bowed not to Baal and every mouth who kissed him not. 19 And he goes there and finds Eli Shua the son of Shaphat plowing with twelve yoke at his face and he is with the twelfth: and Eli Yah passes by him and casts his mighty mantle on him. 20 And he leaves the oxen and runs after Eli Yah and says, Let me, I beseech you, kiss my father and my mother - and I go after you. And he says to him, Go! Return! What work I to you? 21 And he returns from after him and takes a yoke of oxen and sacrifices them and stews their flesh with the instruments of the oxen; and gives to the people and they eat: and he rises and goes after Eli Yah and ministers to him.
