¹⁶ For humanity indeed oaths by the greater: and an oath establishes a finality of all controversy.

⁹ Lie not one to another - seeing that you stripped the old humanity with his functions; ¹⁰ and endued the new, renewed in knowledge after the icon of him who created him:

² If a soul sin and treasons a treason against Yah Veh and deceives his friend in what he is overseeing or by placing the hand or by stripping or extorting his friend;

² When a man vows a vow to Yah Veh, or oaths an oath to bind a bond on his soul, he profanes not his word; he works according to all proceeding from his mouth.

¹⁵ and Yah Shua works shalom with them and cuts a covenant with them that they live: and the hierarchs of the witness oath to them.

¹⁶ These six Yah Veh hates; yes, seven are an abhorrence to his soul; ¹⁷ a lofty eye; a false tongue; and hands pouring innocent blood; ¹⁸ a heart inscribing mischievous fabrications; feet hastening to run to evil; ¹⁹ a false witness breathing lies; - spreading contention among brothers.

¹⁷ Wherein Elohim willed more superabundantly to show the heirs of pre-evangelism the immutability of his counsel, he confirmed it by an oath:

¹⁵ Brothers, I word after the manner of humanity; Yet still, a human covenant, being confirmed, no one sets aside, or adds thereto.
