⁸ Jesus Christ, yesterday, and today: and the same for ever.

¹³ But exhort one another every day, whilst it is called to day, that none of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.

⁹ Thus therefore shall you pray: Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. ¹⁰ Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. ¹¹ Give us this day our supersubstantial bread. ¹² And forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors. ¹³ And lead us not into temptation. But deliver us from evil. Amen.

⁷ Wherefore, as the Holy Ghost saith: To-day if you shall hear his voice,

³⁴ Be not therefore solicitous for to morrow; for the morrow will be solicitous for itself. Sufficient for the day is the evil thereof.

¹³ But who art thou that judgest thy neighbour? Behold, now you that say: To-day or to-morrow we will go into such a city, and there we will spend a year and will traffic and make our gain. ¹⁴ Whereas you know not what shall be on the morrow. ¹⁵ For what is your life? It is a vapour which appeareth for a little while and afterwards shall vanish away. For that you should say: If the Lord will, and, If we shall live, we will do this or that.

²⁴ This is the day which the Lord hath made: let us be glad and rejoice therein.

²⁴ Therefore I say unto you, all things, whatsoever you ask when ye pray, believe that you shall receive: and they shall come unto you.
