²⁸ You shall not make any cuttings in your flesh, for the dead: neither shall you make in yourselves any figures or marks. I am the Lord.

¹⁹ Now therefore you are no more strangers and foreigners: but you are fellow citizens with the saints and the domestics of God, ²⁰ Built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone: ²¹ In whom all the building, being framed together, groweth up into an holy temple in the Lord. ²² In whom you also are built together into an habitation of God in the Spirit.

¹⁶ Know you not that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? ¹⁷ But if any man violate the temple of God, him shall God destroy. For the temple of God is holy, which you are.

¹ I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercy of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, pleasing unto God, your reasonable service.

⁷ For God hath not given us the spirit of fear: but of power and of love and of sobriety.

³¹ And as you would that men should do to you, do you also to them in like manner.

³⁰ He must increase: but I must decrease.

³ For I say, by the grace that is given me, to all that are among you, not to be more wise than it behoveth to be wise, but to be wise unto sobriety and according as God hath divided to every one the measure of faith.
