Acts 16:31

31 But they said: believe in the Lord Jesus: and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

1 Peter 2:1-25

1 Wherefore laying away all malice and all guile and dissimulations and envies and all detractions, 2 As newborn babes, desire the rational milk without guile, that thereby you may grow unto salvation: 3 If so be you have tasted that the Lord is sweet. 4 Unto whom coming, as to a living stone, rejected indeed by men but chosen and made honourable by God: 5 Be you also as living stones built up, a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ. 6 Wherefore it is said in the scripture: Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious. And he that shall believe in him shall not be confounded. 7 To you therefore that believe, he is honour: but to them that believe not, the stone which the builders rejected, the same is made the head of the corner: 8 And a stone of stumbling and a rock of scandal, to them who stumble at the word, neither do believe, whereunto also they are set. 9 But you are a chosen generation, a kingly priesthood, a holy nation, a purchased people: that you may declare his virtues, who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light: 10 Who in times past were not a people: but are now the people of God. Who had not obtained mercy: but now have obtained mercy. 11 Dearly beloved, I beseech you, as strangers and pilgrims, to refrain yourselves from carnal desires which war against the soul, 12 Having your conversation good among the Gentiles: that whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may, by the good works which they shall behold in you, glorify God in the day of visitation. 13 Be ye subject therefore to every human creature for God's sake: whether it be to the king as excelling, 14 Or to governors as sent by him for the punishment of evildoers and for the praise of the good. 15 For so is the will of God, that by doing well you may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men: 16 As free and not as making liberty a cloak for malice, but as the servants of God. 17 Honour all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honour the king. 18 Servants, be subject to your masters with all fear, not only to the good and gentle but also to the froward. 19 For this is thankworthy: if, for conscience towards God, a man endure sorrows, suffering wrongfully. 20 For what glory is it, if, committing sin and being buffeted for it, you endure? But if doing well you suffer patiently: this is thankworthy before God. 21 For unto this are you called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving you an example that you should follow his steps. 22 Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth. 23 Who, when he was reviled, did not revile: when he suffered, he threatened not, but delivered himself to him that judged him unjustly. 24 Who his own self bore our sins in his body upon the tree: that we, being dead to sins, should live to justice: by whose stripes you were healed. 25 For you were as sheep going astray: but you are now converted to the shepherd and bishop of your souls.

Hebrews 10:26-27

26 For if we sin wilfully after having the knowledge of the truth, there is now left no sacrifice for sins: 27 But a certain dreadful expectation of judgment, and the rage of a fire which shall consume the adversaries.

James 3:2

2 For in many things we all offend. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man. He is able also with a bridle to lead about the whole body.

1 Corinthians 6:9

9 Know you not that the unjust shall not possess the kingdom of God? Do not err: Neither fornicators nor idolaters nor adulterers:

Jude 1:4

4 For certain men are secretly entered in (who were written of long ago unto this judgment), ungodly men, turning the grace of our Lord God into riotousness and denying the only sovereign Ruler and our Lord Jesus Christ.

1 John 2:1-29

1 My little children, these things I write to you, that you may not sin. But if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the just. 2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for those of the whole world. 3 And by this we know that we have known him, if we keep his commandments. 4 He who saith that he knoweth him and keepeth not his commandments is a liar: and the truth is not in him. 5 But he that keepeth his word, in him in very deed the charity of God is perfected. And by this we know that we are in him. 6 He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also to walk even as he walked. 7 Dearly beloved, I write not a new commandment to you, but an old commandment which you had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which you have heard. 8 Again a new commandment I write unto you: which thing is true both in him and in you, because the darkness is passed and the true light now shineth. 9 He that saith he is in the light and hateth his brother is in darkness even until now. 10 He that loveth his brother abideth in the light: and there is no scandal in him. 11 But he that hateth his brother is in darkness and walketh in darkness and knoweth not whither he goeth: because the darkness hath blinded his eyes. 12 I write unto you, little children, because your sins are forgiven you for his name's sake. 13 I write unto you, fathers, because you have known him who is from the beginning. I write unto you, young men, because you have overcome the wicked one. 14 I write unto you, babes, because you have known the Father. I write unto you, young men, because you are strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and you have overcome the wicked one. 15 Love not the world, nor the things which are in the world. If any man love the world, the charity of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world is the concupiscence of the flesh and the concupiscence of the eyes and the pride of life, which is not of the Father but is of the world. 17 And the world passeth away and the concupiscence thereof: but he that doth the will of God abideth for ever. 18 Little children, it is the last hour: and as you have heard that Antichrist cometh, even now there are become many Antichrists: whereby we know that it is the last hour. 19 They went out from us but they were not of us. For if they had been of us, they would no doubt have remained with us: but that they may be manifest, that they are not all of us. 20 But you have the unction from the Holy One and know all things. 21 I have not written to you as to them that know not the truth, but as to them that know it: and that no lie is of the truth. 22 Who is a liar, but he who denieth that Jesus is the Christ? This is Antichrist, who denieth the Father and the Son. 23 Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father. He that confesseth the Son hath the Father also. 24 As for you, let that which you have heard from the beginning abide in you. If that abide in you, which you have heard from the beginning, you also shall abide in the Son and in the Father. 25 And this is the promise which he hath promised us, life everlasting. 26 These things have I written to you concerning them that seduce you. 27 And as for you, let the unction, which you have received from him abide in you. And you have no need that any man teach you: but as his unction teacheth you of all things and is truth and is no lie. And as it hath taught you, abide in him. 28 And now, little children, abide in him, that when he shall appear we may have confidence and not be confounded by him at his coming. 29 If you know that he is just, know ye, that every one also who doth justice is born of him.

Leviticus 18:22

22 Thou shalt not lie with mankind as with womankind: because it is an abomination.

2 Corinthians 5:10

10 For we must all be manifested before the judgment seat of Christ, that every one may receive the proper things of the body, according as he hath done, whether it be good or evil.

James 1:14-15

14 But every man is tempted by his own concupiscence, being drawn away and allured. 15 Then, when concupiscence hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin. But sin, when it is completed, begetteth death.
