²² The hoofs of the horses were broken whilst the stoutest of the enemies fled amain, and fell headlong down.

And hell followed him. And power was given to him over the four parts of the earth, to kill with sword, with famine and with death and with the beasts of the earth.

These two were cast alive into the pool of fire burning with brimstone. ²¹ And the rest were slain by the sword of him that sitteth upon the horse, which proceedeth out of his mouth: and all the birds were filled with their flesh.

⁸ Their horses are lighter than leopards, and swifter than evening wolves; and their horsemen shall be spread abroad: for their horsemen shall come from afar, they shall fly as an eagle that maketh haste to eat.

³ For if we put bits into the mouths of horses, that they may obey us: and we turn about their whole body.

³¹ The horse is prepared for the day of battle: but the Lord giveth safety.
