⁴² And they were persevering in the doctrine of the apostles and in the communication of the breaking of bread and in prayers.

⁴⁴ And all they that believed were together and had all things common. ⁴⁵ Their possessions and goods they sold and divided them to all, according as every one had need. ⁴⁶ And continuing daily with one accord in the temple and breaking bread from house to house, they took their meat with gladness and simplicity of heart: ⁴⁷ Praising God and having favour with all the people. And the Lord increased daily together such as should be saved.

²¹ That they all may be one, as thou, Father, in me, and I in thee; that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. ²² And the glory which thou hast given me, I have given to them: that, they may be one, as we also are one. ²³ I in them, and thou in me: that they may be made perfect in one: and the world may know that thou hast sent me and hast loved them, as thou hast also loved me.

¹² That is to say, that I may be comforted together in you by that which is common to us both, your faith and mine.

³⁰ Because we are members of him, body, of his flesh and of his bones.

⁷ But if we walk in the light, as he also is in the light, we have fellowship one with another: And the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

⁸ And in fine, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, being lovers of the brotherhood, merciful, modest, humble:

²⁰ For where there are two or three gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

² Bear ye one another's burdens: and so you shall fulfil the law of Christ.

¹⁷ Iron sharpeneth iron, so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.

³ That which we have seen and have heard, we declare unto you: that you also may have fellowship with us and our fellowship may be with the Father and with his Son Jesus Christ.

²⁴ And let us consider one another, to provoke unto charity and to good works:

⁹ It is better therefore that two should be together, than one: for they have the advantage of their society: ¹⁰ If one fall he shall be supported by the other: woe to him that is alone, for when he falleth, he hath none to lift him up. ¹¹ And if two lie together, they shall warm one another: how shall one alone be warmed? ¹² And if a man prevail against one, two shall withstand him: a threefold cord is not easily broken.

²⁵ Not forsaking our assembly, as some are accustomed: but comforting one anther, and so much the more as you see the day approaching.

¹¹ For which cause comfort one another and edify one another, as you also do.
