³⁴ And Peter opening his mouth, said: in very deed I perceive that God is not a respecter of persons. ³⁵ But in every nation, he that feareth him and worketh justice is acceptable to him.

¹⁶ For God so loved the world, as to give his only begotten Son: that whosoever believeth in him may not perish, but may have life everlasting.

²³ The life is more than the meat: and the body is more than the raiment.

¹⁵ Love not the world, nor the things which are in the world. If any man love the world, the charity of the Father is not in him. ¹⁶ For all that is in the world is the concupiscence of the flesh and the concupiscence of the eyes and the pride of life, which is not of the Father but is of the world. ¹⁷ And the world passeth away and the concupiscence thereof: but he that doth the will of God abideth for ever.

⁹ After this, I saw a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations and tribes and peoples and tongues, standing before the throne and in sight of the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands.

¹⁹ For whereas I was free as to all, I made myself the servant of all, that I might gain the more. ²⁰ And I became to the Jews a Jew, that I might gain the Jews: To them that are under the law, as if I were under the law, (whereas myself was not under the law,) that I might gain them that were under the law. ²¹ To them that were without the law, as if I were without the law, (whereas I was not without the law of God, but was in the law of Christ,) that I might gain them that were without the law. ²² To the weak I became weak, that I might gain the weak. I became all things to all men, that I might save all. ²³ And I do all things for the gospel's sake, that I may be made partaker thereof.

¹⁹ If you had been of the world, the world would love its own: but because you are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.

²⁸ There is neither Jew nor Greek: there is neither bond nor free: there is neither male nor female. For you are all one in Christ Jesus.

² And be not conformed to this world: but be reformed in the newness of your mind, that you may prove what is the good and the acceptable and the perfect will of God.
