But if the salt become unsavoury, wherewith will you season it? Have salt in you: and have peace among you.

⁸ For the rest, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever modest, whatsoever just, whatsoever holy, whatsoever lovely, whatsoever of good fame, if there be any virtue, if any praise of discipline: think on these things.

² Bear ye one another's burdens: and so you shall fulfil the law of Christ.

¹ Be ye therefore followers of God, as most dear children: ² And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us and hath delivered himself for us, an oblation and a sacrifice to God for an odour of sweetness. ³ But fornication and all uncleanness or covetousness, let it not so much as be named among you, as becometh saints: ⁴ Or obscenity or foolish talking or scurrility, which is to no purpose: but rather giving of thanks.

²⁴ Be not a friend to an angry man, and do not walk with a furious man:

²⁶ And hath made of one, all mankind, to dwell upon the whole face of the earth, determining appointed times and the limits of their habitation.

¹⁴ Bear not the yoke with unbelievers. For what participation hath justice with injustice? Or what fellowship hath light with darkness?

⁶ Let your speech be always in grace seasoned with salt: that you may know how you ought to answer every man.

⁵ For every one shall bear his own burden.
