¹² Embrace discipline, lest at any time the Lord be angry, and you perish from the just way. ^(2:13) When his wrath shall be kindled in a short time, blessed are all they that trust in him.

² Blessed is the man to whom the Lord hath not imputed sin, and in whose spirit there is no guile.

²⁸ But he said: Yea rather, blessed are they who hear the word of God and keep it.

²⁶ Blessed be he that cometh in the name of the Lord. We have blessed you out of the house of the Lord.

⁷ Blessed be the man that trusteth in the Lord, and the Lord shall be his confidence.

³ Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. ⁴ Blessed are the meek: for they shall possess the land. ⁵ Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. ⁶ Blessed are they that hunger and thirst after justice: for they shall have their fill. ⁷ Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.
