⁴⁶ And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things that I say?

⁵ [Let your] conversation [be] without love of money, satisfied with [your] present circumstances; for *he* has said, I will not leave thee, neither will I forsake thee. ⁶ So that, taking courage, we may say, The Lord [is] my helper, and I will not be afraid: what will man do unto me?

²² But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, fidelity, ²³ meekness, self-control: against such things there is no law.

¹⁵ Strive diligently to present thyself approved to God, a workman that has not to be ashamed, cutting in a straight line the word of truth.

⁷ Because the mind of the flesh is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God; for neither indeed can it be:

⁹ There remains then a sabbatism to the people of God. ¹⁰ For he that has entered into his rest, he also has rested from his works, as God did from his own. ¹¹ Let us therefore use diligence to enter into that rest, that no one may fall after the same example of not hearkening to the word.

²⁴ Strive with earnestness to enter in through the narrow door, for many, I say to you, will seek to enter in and will not be able.
