¹⁶ Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.

¹³ Righteous lips are the delight of kings, and they love him that speaketh aright.

⁹ He that walketh in integrity walketh securely; but he that perverteth his ways shall be known.

³⁷ But let your word be Yea, yea; Nay, nay; but what is more than these is from evil.

³¹ And as ye wish that men should do to you, do *ye* also to them in like manner.

¹⁶ For this cause I also exercise [myself] to have in everything a conscience without offence towards God and men.

¹⁸ Pray for us: for we persuade ourselves that we have a good conscience, in all things desirous to walk rightly.

³ The integrity of the upright guideth them; but the crookedness of the unfaithful destroyeth them.

¹⁰ For he that will love life and see good days, let him cause his tongue to cease from evil and his lips that they speak no guile. ¹¹ And let him avoid evil, and do good; let him seek peace and pursue it; ¹² because [the] eyes of [the] Lord [are] on [the] righteous, and his ears towards their supplications; but [the] face of [the] Lord [is] against them that do evil.

⁸ For the rest, brethren, whatsoever things [are] true, whatsoever things [are] noble, whatsoever things [are] just, whatsoever things [are] pure, whatsoever things [are] amiable, whatsoever things [are] of good report; if [there be] any virtue and if any praise, think on these things. ⁹ What ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, these things do; and the God of peace shall be with you.

⁹ Do not lie to one another, having put off the old man with his deeds,

¹⁶ These six [things] doth Jehovah hate, yea, seven are an abomination unto him: ¹⁷ haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood; ¹⁸ a heart that deviseth wicked imaginations; feet that are swift in running to mischief; ¹⁹ a false witness that uttereth lies, and he that soweth discords among brethren. ²⁰ My son, observe thy father`s commandment, and forsake not the teaching of thy mother;

³² and ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free.

²¹ for we provide for things honest, not only before [the] Lord, but also before men.

¹ Better is a poor [man] that walketh in his integrity, than he that is perverse in his lips, and is a fool.

²² Lying lips are an abomination to Jehovah; but they that deal truly are his delight.
