Psalms 42:8-11

8 In the day-time will Jehovah command his loving-kindness, and in the night his song shall be with me, a prayer unto the ?God of my life. 9 I will say unto ?God my rock, Why hast thou forgotten me? why go I mourning because of the oppression of the enemy? 10 As with a crushing in my bones mine adversaries reproach me, while they say unto me all the day, Where is thy God? 11 Why art thou cast down, my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope in God; for I shall yet praise him, [who is] the health of my countenance, and my God.

2 Corinthians 10:4-5

4 For the arms of our warfare [are] not fleshly, but powerful according to God to [the] overthrow of strongholds; 5 overthrowing reasonings and every high thing that lifts itself up against the knowledge of God, and leading captive every thought into the obedience of the Christ;

Psalms 25:2-11

2 My God, I confide in thee; let me not be ashamed, let not mine enemies triumph over me. 3 Yea, none that wait on thee shall be ashamed: they shall be ashamed that deal treacherously without cause. 4 Make me to know thy ways, O Jehovah; teach me thy paths. 5 Make me to walk in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day. 6 Remember, Jehovah, thy tender mercies and thy loving-kindnesses; for they are from everlasting. 7 Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions; according to thy loving-kindness remember thou me, for thy goodness` sake, Jehovah. 8 Good and upright is Jehovah; therefore will he instruct sinners in the way: 9 The meek will he guide in judgment, and the meek will he teach his way. 10 All the paths of Jehovah are loving-kindness and truth for such as keep his covenant and his testimonies. 11 For thy name`s sake, O Jehovah, thou wilt indeed pardon mine iniquity; for it is great.

Psalms 119:73-81

73 YOD. Thy hands have made me and fashioned me: give me understanding, and I will learn thy commandments. 74 They that fear thee will see me, and rejoice; because I have hoped in thy word. 75 I know, Jehovah, that thy Judgments are righteousness, and that in faithfulness thou hast afflicted me. 76 Oh let thy loving-kindness be for my comfort, according to thy ?word unto thy servant. 77 Let thy tender mercies come unto me, that I may live; for thy law is my delight. 78 Let the proud be ashamed; for they have acted perversely towards me with falsehood: as for me, I meditate in thy precepts. 79 Let those that fear thee turn unto me, and those that know thy testimonies. 80 Let my heart be perfect in thy statutes, that I be not ashamed. 81 CAPH. My soul fainteth for thy salvation; I hope in thy word.

Jeremiah 29:11

11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith Jehovah, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you in your latter end a hope.

Romans 8:18-25

18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy [to be compared] with the coming glory to be revealed to us. 19 For the anxious looking out of the creature expects the revelation of the sons of God: 20 for the creature has been made subject to vanity, not of its will, but by reason of him who has subjected [the same], in hope 21 that the creature itself also shall be set free from the bondage of corruption into the liberty of the glory of the children of God. 22 For we know that the whole creation groans together and travails in pain together until now. 23 And not only [that], but even *we* ourselves, who have the first-fruits of the Spirit, we also ourselves groan in ourselves, awaiting adoption, [that is] the redemption of our body. 24 For we have been saved in hope; but hope seen is not hope; for what any one sees, why does he also hope? 25 But if what we see not we hope, we expect in patience.

Romans 8:33-39

33 Who shall bring an accusation against God`s elect? [It is] God who justifies: 34 who is he that condemns? [It is] Christ who has died, but rather has been [also] raised up; who is also at the right hand of God; who also intercedes for us. 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? tribulation or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword? 36 According as it is written, For thy sake we are put to death all the day long; we have been reckoned as sheep for slaughter. 37 But in all these things we more than conquer through him that has loved us. 38 For I am persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which [is] in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 8:28

28 But we *do* know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to purpose.

Romans 6:14

14 For sin shall not have dominion over *you*, for ye are not under law but under grace.

Romans 7:15-25

15 For that which I do, I do not own: for not what I will, this I do; but what I hate, this I practise. 16 But if what I do not will, this I practise, I consent to the law that [it is] right. 17 Now then [it is] no longer *I* [that] do it, but the sin that dwells in me. 18 For I know that in me, that is, in my flesh, good does not dwell: for to will is there with me, but to do right [I find] not. 19 For I do not practise the good that I will; but the evil I do not will, that I do. 20 But if what *I* do not will, this I practise, [it is] no longer *I* [that] do it, but the sin that dwells in me. 21 I find then the law upon *me* who will to practise what is right, that with *me* evil is there. 22 For I delight in the law of God according to the inward man: 23 but I see another law in my members, warring in opposition to the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which exists in my members. 24 O wretched man that I [am]! who shall deliver me out of this body of death? 25 I thank God, through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then *I* *myself* with the mind serve God`s law; but with the flesh sin`s law.

Romans 8:26-27

26 And in like manner the Spirit joins also its help to our weakness; for we do not know what we should pray for as is fitting, but the Spirit itself makes intercession with groanings which cannot be uttered. 27 But he who searches the hearts knows what [is] the mind of the Spirit, because he intercedes for saints according to God.
