¹ Come to the waters all ye, yt be thurstie, & ye that haue no moneye. Come, bye, that ye maye haue to eate. Come, bye wyne & mylck, without eny money, or moneye worth, ² Wherfore do ye laye out yor moneye, for the thinge yt fedeth not, and spende youre laboure aboute the thinge that satisfieth you not? But herke rather vnto me, ad ye shal eate of the best, & youre soule shal haue hir pleasure in pleteousnes.

⁴ And Easter ye feast of the Iewes was nye.

²² But the frute of the sprete, is loue, ioye, peace, longe sufferinge, getlenes, goodnesse, faithfulnes, ²³ mekenesse, teperaunce, Agaynst soch is not ye lawe: ²⁴ But they that are Christes, haue crucified their flesh, with the lustes and desyres.

² My beloued, I wysshe in all thinges, that thou prospere and fare well euen as thy soule prospereth.

³ And the elder wemen likewyse that they shewe them selues as it becommeth holynes, that they be no false accusers, not geuen to moch wyne, that they teach honest thinges, ⁴ that they enfourme the yonge wemen to be sober mynded, to loue their hussbandes, to loue their childre, ⁵ to be discrete, chaste, husswyfly, good, obedient vnto their awne hussbandes, that the worde of God be not euell spoken of.

³⁴ But take hede vnto youre selues, that yor hertes be not ouerlade with excesse of eatinge and with dronkennes, and with takinge of thought for lyuynge, and so this daye come vpo you vnawares.
