⁵ Worshipe them not, and serue them not: for I the LORDE thy God am a gelouse God, vysitinge ye synne of the fathers vpon the children, vnto ye thirde and fourth generacion, of them that hate me:

¹⁷ But the mercifull goodnesse of ye LORDE endureth for euer and euer, vpon them yt feare him, and his rightuousnesse vpon their childers children.

³ Honor wedowes, which are true wedowes. ⁴ Yf eny wedowe haue children or neves, let them lerne first to rule their awne houses godly, and to recompence their elders. For yt is good & acceptable before God.

²¹ I will make this conuenaunt with them (sayeth ye LORDE): My sprete that is come vpon the, & the wordes which I haue put in yi mouth, shal neuer go out of thy mouth, nor out of ye mouth of thy childre, no ner out of ye mouth of thy childers childre, from this tyme forth for euer more.

⁹ Take hede to thy selfe now, and kepe well thy soule, that thou forget not the thinges which thine eyes haue sene, and that they departe not out of thy hert all the dayes of thy life. And thou shalt teach them thy children and thy childers children,

²² Which their childers childre shal haue in possessio, for the riches of the synner is layed vp for ye iust.

⁶ The LORDE shal so blesse the out of Sion, that thou shalt se Ierusale in prosperite all thy life longe. Yee that thou shalt se thy childers childre, & peace vpo Israel.

⁶ Childers children are a worshipe vnto the elders, and the fathers are the honor of the children.
